Tuesday Morning and it's chilly still in SE GA..

It is afternoon here in Normal... my daughter came over yesterday first time since I told my children I was staying here! All went well she helped me get the drains de-winterized and the water tank filled for the trip south... I guess my son in law John and daughter Margie are going to drive me down then rent a car and take a few days to themselves before coming back to Normal... we will be leaving the 23rd which is coming up fast... I will stay at Cliftwood in Ocala... my friend Molly will be there also... I know Steve and Irmi will be close bye also...
My grandson David will be getting married next July or August so a trip to Michigan is in order... such an exciting time for our family...
My grandson Pete will change the oil in my motorhome and check the tires...
It is rainy and cool here today not really rain just drizzle...
Sarah am praying for your niece and also you during this trying time... there seems to be so much cancer all over the place...

It's afternoon here on the eastern shore of MD, too, and a bit cool for my likings, but I know it could be worse.

Had a meeting this morning with our financial advisor and then went to Dad's financial advisor to sign more papers to settle Mom's estate.

The motorhome is winterized so it'll be good to go until we leave for our trip to Ocala. Since my family is celebrating Christmas on Dec. 21st, I think Steve & I will leave following the church service that I play for on the 22nd. Kathleen, we'll only be a few miles from you and we're already looking forward to lots of visits this winter.

Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear about your niece and hope the news will be more positive after todays appointment.

Way past breakfast but I was busy! To much time gabbing on the phone. Breezy here today but at least the sun is shining and it's a little warmer. I was headed off to San Bernadino to look at a motorcycle and ended up spending to much time next door talking to my oldest grand. She's watching the Chewmonster for me Thursday nite. I'm taking a much needed day at a spa for massage, facial and hot water soaking. Decided to get a room and spend the nite rather than sit in traffic coming home, so not going to my usual spa in Corona. Anyway, after chatting with her for an hour to late to go to Sanberdoo...to much traffic, so will run over there tomorrow. There is a small window of 2 days of 80+ degree weather so I'm taking full advantage of it!!

LOUISE! There you are! So happy to hear from you----I was beginning to think the Ruckus in the Mountains turned you off to posting any more, or something! Was worried that you somehow thought we might all be too weird to stay in touch, or something. Everyone enjoyed meeting you and Gayle, and she, too, is among the missing. Not a word from her since she left the Adirondacks with her two beautiful little scottie and scottie-like dogs. Gayle, are you out there somewhere? It was great meeting with you, Louise, this past summer, and it would be neat to get together again down here in FL----Donna, Linda, her sister Sandy, Dell, Anita, and a few others are here in the sunny state now----we just need to pick a spot and time to try to see each other! This time around, I need to spend time watching you weave and make your wonderful craftsy things that I missed at home in the mountains!

Tonight I am in my house in the Orlando area, and will head back to the trailer in St. Cloud for the weekend. Melissa's parents are taking the train from Tampa for the weekend, and we will all have a party celebrating the getting together of family for a few days.

The weather here has been unbelievably Nirvanic! Nice breeze, warm temps (75-80 degrees F.) and cool, star-filled nights. I spent today and yesterday weeding my gardens here and making sure all the appliances are working----they are just as I left them back in May. I cannot believe I haven't gone swimming as yet, but I plan to do that tomorrow before I head back to the trailer!
