I have a cb, cobra, and it's usually turned on. Comes in handy when I'm passing a truck, he looks in his mirror and realizes there's a girlie driving that big ole rv...as he's looking he's drifting over and taking his half out of the middle. cb helps to get his attention back on the road.
Doesn't happen so much any more, but when I started driving 9 years ago happened a lot. We're EVERYWHERE now..kind of like zombies!
Anyway...if you don't have cell service you're probably not gonna have cb either. The range on them is pretty short and if you're in a forest, pretty much line of sight. There's another kind of radio you can get, our jeep club uses it. I can talk to them from 15 miles away. They're pretty expensive, but I can get the name if you're interested. CRS has kicked in and my radio is in the rv.
Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat.
