It's Friday Morning and we're still under covers... electric ones that is !!!! Been told this weekend should be good...So there is hope for us all woooooo hoooooo Friday is here and the Weekend begins...aaaaah sleep in..well, maybe some will ..as for me..I get to snuggle in with my critters for a bit longer...as they all move to the right, yeah sounds good..... As for the rest of ya..let me wander .. lately it seems I've hit a few snags in the freeze frame territory..I do think the internet is feeling the chill too...

Rv Granny (Lori and Ernie) gave us a tour so far of the campground...and yep, a Casino..by the way glad you won some..and oh I love the flowers on that table too..we'll be looking forward to more info in that area..by the way..hubby has kin folks there...and ya might want to say hello to Trent Lot.. he has a home there...well, might be re building as his place was hit by Katrina..in fact most of the area was...

SeeyaGal (Jenny and Dan) loves Drew Barrymore and as you read this article..oooooooh do you find out some good stories..almost as bad as the kids with the telephone or was it parrot ...where ya whispered a sentence..and by the time it got to the end...well..I'll just let you all wander over and check that one out...oooooooooh it does get good...

Sparkles quiet day..turns into a wet one..well..not exactly but it goes from a plate of yummy food..to a drive to a glass of water ???? well..another turn in and make a left... LOL Crystal glass or not I'm with (Wicked Lady) Marda..nothin finer than turning water into coffee..oh and by the way Echo..some how I can't relate to bath water being the same as drinkin water hahahahaha..wash outside and then inside..watch out for the bubbles..hahahahaha...ooooh I have a picture in my mind....

Sparkle however you do make up a pretty dinner..and I remember when ya made the Sheppard's breads too..you is just good and colorful !!

Paulette is baking...yep, she done posted that Jewish Apple Cake... Almost There (Lenora)..it does sound good too...and from what I heard Paulette is also gonna do a Kahlua cake too.....uh oh... I feel the scale tipping again..

Birdbybird..(Tina)..is back in NC..but from what I read..she's done did what some of us have experienced..the cell phone drop in the water.. now my hubby, not me..dropped it in the toilet...she washed it...and you all know the end of that story... LOL..on to another cell phone..well she lucked out she kept her older one... .and we'll anxiously await the arrival of Blondie's puppies...

Echo, keep warm ..and yep gotcha a big mug for your coffee.... and because ya have the gift of gab..ya gotta shorten them calls LOL hard to do..ain't it... I know the feeling..it just rolls off too....hahahahaha..

Ok, it's time I wander into the kitchen and start my coffee pot..and turn on that whistling kettle.. set the table and wait for you all to enter... have Espresso Cake, Apple Pockets, Donut Holes..well they are not holes.. I mean what's that about anyway..they is balls..LOL...and some biscotti left..I'll be heading out to the store in a few hours..got my list too... Made a big pot of Minestrone cause I was cold..so I'll have that for lunch..

Good Morning, Barb, and All!

It's a relatively warm -5F. here this morning, with predictions of warming more for the weekend.

Saturday night is the lighting of the new ice palace, with fireworks and partying included! I sure wish I knew someone who still lived in town as I have in past years. It's too far for me to party and then drive back here. Sigh....guess I will just read about most of the events now. Although I will definitely go to the parade a week from this upcoming Saturday. Haven't missed one since I lived here.

I hope you all have a fun day doing what you like the best, and keep us all informed of your escapades!

Off I go to work----it's jeans day, and I love that. Every Friday we faculty members get to wear jeans in exchange for $3.00 contribution to a cause of our choosing. We usually manage to take in about 100+ dollars, as some contribute more than the 3 bucks. It's good for us all!

Good morning everyone! It's jeans day here too, and double layer of sweatshirts. I left the heat on in the rv last night with cabinet doors open as some suggested. Tonight's the night of first camp with the Pleasure Way. I've been waiting for warmer weather to hook up to water and test out the water system & hot water heater....sure hope it works. I'll test it out later today before setting off for the cg. Tonight's overnight temps are predicted to hover in the 30's, so hopefully will not have a freezing problem. Tomorrow will be warmer.

Today I will shop for a new ceiling fan for the room being renovated in the stick house, and some paint for the walls.

Goooood Morning Sisters!!!!

Oh YAWN! I sure wish I could have simply stayed in bed when that blasted alarm went off this morning. But I have to go to the county court house to see if I can get a duplicate title for my Blazer. Normally I would just go to the DMV but have been told that I can pick one up at the court house. 2 years ago when I changed everything back to TN they wouldn't mail it to the PO Box in PA. They would only mail to a physical address here in TN. Got a PO box here but I guess not in time? Because I never got the title. And I'm gonna end up needing it sooner or later. If it's later I sure don't want to figure out how to get back here to fill out paperwork to get a hold of it. If they wouldn't mail out of state before they sure aren't gonna do it now.

Barbz I had to go back and check out Lori's post again after you mentioned the flowers. I was so busy looking at that chandelier I missed the flowers. Is that anything like missing the forest for the trees???

Oh, and ya aint suppose to drink 'water' with bubbles. If'in that water has got soapsuds in it??? It sure aint used for drinking!!!!

Weather man says warmer temps for the next few days. Hmmmm? I think I will believe it when I feel it. I think the people predicting the weather are getting a whole lot worse instead of getting better. I know that weather prediction is not an exact science? But dang I almost think I could do as as good a job as they do. Could handle that paycheck a whole lot better that's for sure!!!

Ok need to get it in gear and get out the door to the court house. Would much rather stay here longer, drink coffee and eat yummies.

How exciting Liz! First time out in our new rig!! Since I am such a newbie, our first time out was nerve wracking. But you are an old hand, just get to go in a new rig.

I was busy all day yesterday with my rescue dogs. I have 3 fosters and have adoption applications in for 2 of them. One app is almost approved after we do a home visit of the prospective "parents". The other app I have to start screening today. When it rains, it pours! I don't mind this part of rescue work. All the paperwork, and screening applicants. But once they are approved, and it's time for the babies to leave.... Oh Lord, it's so hard! I hate that part. Well, they aren't gone yet so we are having a big outing this weekend if the temps will improve.

My home town doesn't have many CG's but I love our downtown & park area. You can walk for miles. You can be in the middle of downtown then beside a stream in the middle of nowhere in a matter of minutes. We are taking the pups to town for their outing this weekend. I'll take the camera too if we see anything interesting.

Morning all - well it is starting to get pretty hot here in Mazatlan and the compressor on our air conditioner went out. Had workers here yesterday and they are supposed to come back today. If they can't fix it that might cut our going any further south out. I do not do well in heat. We'll see.
Saw the cliff divers here yesterday. Got to the beach just as they were ready to dive. They are crazy. Also saw the Pole Fliers the day before. Took pictures of both. Wanted to go up in the mountains again to little town where they work in leather. Depends on repair men. Tomorrow we are supposed to leave here. ...Might have to hang around if compressor has to go in.

It's a grey day here in Oregon - maybe I can stay in without feeling guilty today !! I really need to get the bedroom closet reorganized and it's been so nice lately, I just haven't stayed home long enough to get it done - maybe today !!!
I was reading the news on line the other day and saw a headline "Florida Farmers Face Freeze" and I thought - good gravy, how cold is it that a farmer's face froze !?!??!?! I then read the story and realized they meant that farmers are facing a freeze - HA !!!!

Good Morning! Perfect sunny day and warming up. Already hit a yard sale across the street and bought 7 movies for $20 wooohooo!!
Our friends Kay & Bernie left yesterday , they travel in a Road Trek so we have the casita all by ourselves again. Played cards last night " Hand N Foot" with the next door neighbors and the gals WON......Gals Rule!!! Dan is pouting lol

DirecTV came out yesterday morning so now we have a HD satellite dish on the roof of the casita and hooked up to the new HD TV. I sure can see the difference watching movies now ...WOW!!! I may never go to the movies again!! Now we just need some comfortable recliners or a reclining love seat. I keep checking Craigs list for some. I'm soooo spoiled lol

Morning/Afternoon, All.....
It's been cold here too, but have the door open today and Ernie put the awning out before heading out to find the local Walmart, etc.....Sinus/post nasal drip had me up last night, so went back to bed for a nap....took Benedril 2 nites in a row....they always make me sleepy......but am up now and am going to just chill today....
