A fun day

Molly and I had an excellent day today - the weather couldn't have been any nicer !! We went to 3 different beaches and must have walked a million miles !!!
I wanted to share some pictures from our excellent adventure !!!

Bob Creek Wayside - this is one of my favorite places !! There's an excellent beach, tidepools and lots of agates

My silly girl - she loves to climb up on the rocks !!

Here she is back on the beach ... If you can see it, the sand has a very neat pattern on it - there were lots of tiny holes in a swirly pattern - really cool.

This was another wonderful day on the beach :D

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful day. Wonder what kind of critter made that pattern on the sand?

Trudy, are you still on the West Coast? I thought you had gone inland to Iowa? Ohio? sign me either confused or behind the times.

Trudy, more great pics of you and Molly on the beach. Thanks so much for sharing them! And, yep, I love the swirls in the sand. And, I, too wonder what creature caused/made them :)

Sparkle, like you, Trudy gets someplace she likes and has trouble leaving.

Sparkle, I'm still in Oregon - no use heading to Iowa right now, it's buried under snow and ice !!!
I'll leave here in March and be in Iowa for the month of April - then it's on to Wisconsin to work for the summer.

I love your pics of the beach! When I was in OR, I walked the beach at Otis at every tide, and picked up agates by the ton! That was where I also found my slice from a redwood burl that washed up, and I snagged that, too. (That weighed tons when wet!) I have always wanted to polish those agates I picked up out there, but, at this moment, they are in a jar by my bathroom door to use as a doorstop when the wind blows in the summer and I want the bathroom door open! (Still unpolished!)

I only had a Mercury Comet car to drive from coast to coast, so I didn't bring the ton of agates...just a good jarfull!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Trudy, I'd like to be able to tug on my ear or wiggle my nose and find myself there on the beach. But alas and alack or what ever ... I'm stuck in snow country. Keep those great beach pics coming!

Love the beach pictures, I really would love to feel the sand in my toes and smell
that ocean air.
