A good snowy morning to you all,

A look outside at Dawn's early light was rewarded by

Am heading out with camera in a bit to see what it looks like at the little lake across the road here. Won't last long as the ground is still too warm. Don't think anybody will be out working in the yards today :)

I'm planning to spend the day inside working on installing some of those plastic shrink storm windows in my breezeway and a few other things plus working on a fall sign that I am in process of making. Want to get it done so I can go on to another one.

Cold cereal and strawberries for breakfast this morning if anybody's interested. Have a great day all. Those under the weather, hope you are felling better. Sarah, prayers going out for your niece, those on the road, drive safe.

Thoughtful Thursday

Postby Redetotry » Thu Oct 24, 2013 7:31 am

Good Morning everyone, Coffee is ready and there is lots of good stuff in the fridge for your dining pleasure. Just put your order in an it will magically appear! I've had toast and coffee as a primer for my other two courses coming up.

Looks like it will be another partly cloudy cold day here again but I have a lot of distractions going on in my mind as I am starting a new adventure and I'm both excited and nervous which I guess is normal. I've rented office space at a beautiful yoga facility to work out of once a week doing hypnosis and Reiki. I've been doing this for awhile at my home but have never advertised other than word of mouth. I couldn't have found a better spot because there are other health professionals working there who are environmentally aware. The owner is a psychologist and she said she has always wanted a hypnotherapist to work there as she often has patients she would like to refer. So, think about me on Nov. 3rd, especially that I will learn how to work the daunting door lock system. :? The other good part of the arrangement is that I get to try it for a month before committing to a lease!

Safe journeys to all on the road as many of you are moving to warmer weather and I hope everyone enjoys the day ahead.

What a wonderful adventure that you are undertaking BJ! :) I am so excited for you. No matter what comes I know you will enjoy being able to stretch your comfort zones and explore your talents in new environments. Whether or not it is for you...you will get to know , and not have to wonder about it later. You will be in demand and I will have to call ahead when I come to town to be sure you can get away from your schedule. :D Have fun. I can hear your laughter and gentle voice from here.

Good Morning

Sue, wow snow..

I'm in New Orleans the weather should be in the 70's today. I'm beginning my pack up to head back to Houston - 80's. We had a fun time checking out New Orleans for the first time. Ponchatrain Landing RV park was a nice park to visit.

Ok on with the packing!

Another great adventure, BJ. I'm sure you'll do very well. Sounds like an excellent place to have an office too. Will you have your office open every day of the week or just on days you have appointments? You'll just have to clue us all in on what you plan.

Good Morning Everyone, cold and no sun here this morning, but I have my list of what to do today, its started at least  One thing I must do is move RV to outlet and get it plugged in and turn tank heaters on and furnace for tonight. Freezing during the night here and tomorrow night too, so far that's what weather person is saying. It will warm up again they're saying, so hopefully I can be ready to get out of here time it freezes again. Fingers crossed here !!

Have a great day everyone, hope you have colored leaves, I just have brown ones all over both decks, I sweep daily and two hrs. later you can't tell it. I have seen a wee bit of color, but nothing like we usually have here.

Sue, oh I am so glad that is out your window :o :o You have posted some really neat photos lately, I've thoroughly enjoyed each. Especially the scare crow. I see we have two morning post, didn't see yours.

Hope you all have a really great day, and not too many have these snow scenes yet,

CArol :)

Awake at 5 and finally crawled out of bed at 5:30 after tormenting Chewy for a few minutes. She hates to be woken up early. Early for her is anything before 7. Continuing with the un-packing, cleaning and putting away. Didn't get a thing done yesterday 'cause Kohl's had a sale and I had a 30% off coupon. Got some Christmas shopping done. Need to take a sweater back today for an exchange.

I found out the antique steam show in Vista is this w/e so a friend and I are going. I just love this show, so much old stuff and little engines both electric and steam that folks have built. Old washing machines that have been restored. They plant a field in the spring using an old steam tractor and in the fall they harvest the wheat and corn and make corn meal, flour and molasses to sell using old time methods. Really really good rough cornmeal, makes fantastic cornbread. Tractor parade and slow tractor races...oh, just all kinds of stuff to see. Takes all day...well, for me it does. Some folks could do it in a half, but I make sure I don't miss anything.

Lots of interesting posts lately, gives a body a lot to think about. Hope everyone is having a loverly day and staying safe!

Afternoon here. Guy has been here all morning working on my RV. Wash and now applying a multi-coat Poly-Glo finish to renew the shine on the fiberglass. Looks really good so far.

Sue, your photo is beautiful. I could stand there and gaze at it a few minutes, but online I can look a lot longer! Thanks.

Cool front has arrived in Florida too. Humidity is gone and it should be beautifully sunny and in the 70s for our gtg. Great fall FL weather!

Sharon, tht steam show sounds really interesting. Something I would surely enjoy too.

Congratulations, BJ, on your new venture.

Hope everyone does something fun today.
