My new life

Good morning everyone, my name is Terry, I am a new RV owner and looking forward to new experiences with it, 3 of my friends and I experienced the caming in the motorhome for a week in the Smokies a few weeks ago and it was awesome, I have grown from pup tents with my children to bigger tents, to a pop up and now the big 31 ft Itasca Winnebaggo, with a slide, fabulous piece of machine, I live in NWI area and my job is working with special needs adults, I am 59 and waiting impatiently for retirement, lol, I have 3 kids, 2 which have passed away, have one left Shaun who is married and has 2 kids, they are very big in camping also, as a family we camp alot, it has been apart of our life. I am excited to be apart of this forum where we can share ideas and such, have a great day and God Bless yall <3

Welcome to the forum. Sounds as if you have a depth of camping experience and will certainly enjoy the upgrades in your camping style that a MH provides.

Hey Birdbybird thanku, I have been camping since my kids were in diapers, over 30 yrs, it was my cheaper way of a nice weekend with the kiddos, and we started learning alot thru those experiences, we loved each and every one of them, being caught in alot of rain and such, lol, its been great, now i get to enjoy the camping as a senior and getting into the traveling with the motorhome, I am so excited I cant even wait for retirement, it would be nice Bird to hook up somewhere, keep me posted, I do know we will be in the Smokies again Nov 14-17, not with the mh tho. ttyl bird Terry
