Thursday Morning, last test today...

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's finally cool here, 68. The central air temperature in the house said 75 and my DH thought the air conditioner was running. I told him he better put it on heat if it's too cold.

Bonnie, after dealing with horse and cattle trailers I knew I didn't want a camping trailer. I have always had motorhomes. I like to be able to stop and not have to get out except for gas. I had the Good Sam roadside assistance for years and the "help" I got from them for tires was the pits. I changed to Coach Net a few years ago but haven't had to use them for tires yet. I wouldn't go down the road without a spare but that's me. I always seemed to be in the middle of nowhere when I had tire problems. What I found with the people Good Sam sent was that they would show up with a used tire and want to charge you new price for it. I was told that they wouldn't tow you for a tire problem. I had a blowout on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge and was stuck there for several hours while they messed around. Sent a kid in a pickup that couldn't get the tire off. Finally sent a real tire service truck. All the time with 18 wheelers flying by not even getting in the other lane.

I was thinking our next trip with RVW was a week away but it's not until the 31st. I'm ready to go somewhere.

Good Morning all....actually afternoon now!

I totally missed yesterday's postings----lots to do this last week up here in the mountains.

Lots of people on the roads lately, heading to somewhere and everywhere and all over. Just a few more days and I will be joining you. Still a ton to do here for these last few days. Orion and I are watching Caillou on Sprout TV right now, waiting for the sun to come out so we can go for a walk.

Happy Thursday to all!

Martha, what kind of help did you need from the GS program you didn't get? I had them when I had my blowout and the service guys were fantastic. And Jean used them twice for tire problems when we were traveling together with great results. I do believe in having a usable spare -

Martha, the salesperson got back to me today and sent me a picture of the spare, it does exist. I honestly didn't think it was legal, but after doing some research, there are cars now without spares, I'm sure the "smart" car is on of them.

I wasn't too crazy about no spare and was going to figure out a way to have one.
