Don't feel bad, Judi...this Judy is blogless too. I started one...I really did... but it seems everything of interest passes me by before I can get my camera out plus I've had some near misses trying to snap while driving. It just seemed like a LOT of work for me so I have great admiration for those of you who do it and do it so well.

I will probably remain blogless (sigh) but will continue to read and enjoy the blogs of others.

FYI, I no longer snap pictures while driving, nor do I recommend it. Both my camera and my rig are larger, plus towing, so driving requires all my attention. I was not taking pictures when I was hit head on in Texas in 2012, but I know I could have been. The driver that left the road, over-corrected and crossed over to hit me was surely distracted by something she was doing, so want to do everything I can to make sure I am not ever a distracted driver.

A lot depends on your situation. A blog can be your own place to store memories. A blog can be a way to share your adventures or just everyday wonder, with family, distant relatives and friends that already wonder if you are crazy for driving off in that RV thingy. It saves a lot of repeating of your story. If they are even interested.... they have already read what you are up to!

My two grown children and I do not call to talk to each other very often. That is what raising very independent children will do, but I know where they are and this way they know where I am. If we need each other then we are a phone call away....
