Boy is the wind blowing here in the high desert - yesterday it was horrid glad we stopped here.
Tucumcari is a neat little town - another town that buidling the I-40 hurt Lots of nice murals here and some interesting 1930, 40 and 50s buildings. We always stay here coming and going in the fall and spring. We like this RV park - the people are so nice. So I'll give them a little plug in my blog. http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com
We're staying here until at least Sunday and maybe until Monday depending on the weather/wind and if there are any RV spaces available in Albuquerque - forgot the balloon festivel runs until Sunday.

We thought about going south more but want to visit our kids in Las Vegas and CA this year so will continue along I-40 with a short excursion to Monument Valley in Utah and maybe Moab if the weather doesn't get too cold.

I love those little towns along Route 66! It is on my bucket list to travel Route 66 one day. I have read most of the books on it and have a 4 part VHS tape all about it.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
