I can always count on you gals for a great laugh! I really needed a good laugh. I wish I had the guts to let my hair grow out naturally white/grey. But my daughters and DH have very strong feelings against that.

Red...years ago after I first cut my hair, my husband once responded to someone who had inquired what he thought about my wearing my hair so short. The response was, "It isn't as if she asks my opinion." I learned a long time ago not to ask an opinion if I just wanted someone to agree with me. But it is is my hair and I am the one who has to maintain it. Another reason why I quit coloring it over ten years ago. I have fallen back on the wagon once or twice but luckily I was able to make it back to gray.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Step motor is in at Crabtree RV in Alma and service manager called and said whenever I can get there they'll get me in and get it installed. I have rez in Checotah, Ok for 2 nites so I can drive up to Tulsa and have lunch with my dad and uncle, and then boogy for home. I'm usually not ready to go home but this year I'm more than ready and am not making my usual trek south into Tx to visit with family. I had even entertained the idea of going back to Lafayette, La for a week but scotched that idea, too, in favor of heading home. My son left for Pennsylvania for his 2 weeks "on" Tues, I miss him already.

Trying to get stuff done to get ready to move out in the morning but I'm having trouble getting motivated. That's what happens when you sit for to long in one overly comfy spot! Hard to leave a place with full H/U, pool, hot tub and they feed you! And refuse to take any money. I see a new big screen tv in their future.

I fell off the gray wagon while here...guess I had a little to much time on my hands. sigh. I'll keep it up for a while and then get tired of maintaining and let it go again. As Tina said, it's easy to find it again!

Hope everyone has a great day..

A couple of years ago, I decided to get rid of the gray I had in my hair and tried dying it myself! I thought if I made it a very light brownish-blond it would look like the non-gray part of my hair used to look. Oops. Turned out a really funny shade of brownish with some red highlights. I don't know if anyone noticed at work, but at least no one said anything. It washed or wore out after a few weeks. Never again.

FYI, if any of you do have chemo or even lose your hair because of a serious illness as I did a few years back, Rogaine does work! Or at least it helped it grow back sooner. Per my dermatologist who I went to back then for the hair loss, use the men's stuff as the women's doesn't work well enough. Only problem was sticky feeling. After a year or so when my hair was fully grown in, I quit it because I could not stand the feeling of it on my head.

This is late because it is early afternoon, but I made it to Bodega Bay, CA, and I am enjoying the view of the ocean and the bay.

Lots of good reading on here tonight! Glad Judy is on the coast now, and seems to be happy about it!

Hope that Mitch fits Pedro's clothes just perfectly, and that we can get to see some pics of them!

Everything seems to be running as usual here, and happy to see lots of laughs as I get ready for bed!

Maybe Beth can convert you to wearing colorful sundresses when you get to Mexico. (Not with the men's underwear tho! Just in case the wind is blowing hard! :o )
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
