I'm with Karen about the heat! we went northwest in August to get out of the heat and it really didn't get much cooler til about a week b efore we got back (OCT. 1)

The fall was late this year ,, so went the fall colors. Im sure they are bout gone by now,, due to the high winds , snow, etc.

so,, in the rockies,, it's summer, (warm days, cool nites) and winter... no fall to speak of,, wel maybe about week!

Sad! but true

TO Redwahine,,,,,where you are you do NOT hve to worry about a cold winter,,, in Houston....??? honestly! unless your blood has gotten TOO thin whilst there.. HAHA!

Our fall is late this year too. The colors so far are pretty dull. Only a few maples that are bright red and orange, but everything else is blah!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
