Yes, it's getting that time of the year..the big Valentine's goodies..I'm already starting my collections...I thought this Duck was a cutie..and of course cupid had to sneak in and throw a few arrows...Yeah, I just love that look .. We've been having some rather nasty weather here in Sunny Downtown Florida..but guess it could be that white nasty stuff all you up North are having... brrrrrrrrr I hope you are all keeping warm.. Every time I hear the news.. I turn my electric blanket up a notch.. My Joe and Reba have been wearing their PJ's..in fact if I look like I'm gonna take them off..they run !!!! Nakedpupsandme (Micki) I know you're smiling cause you can relate having Cresteds too... by the way let me wonder through...as I prepare my kitchen table...

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill)..Moving down the line here...gosh I checked out that Map..really I know we all feel like we've been driving along with you...and now we are in Mazatlan...oh them Magey plants..You know they take good care of them...and I guess the worm in the bottle is one hanging around the plants..hahahahha.. suddenly the song Tequila comes to mind...amazing how the mind goes when you mention certain names...The vendors always amaze me..and their goods they carry.. It's always good to know more English speaking..You know then we've invaded Mexico..LOL.. Now what happened to our good ole USA.. when we have to call for service..or anything just about lately.. push one for English ????? sorry couldn't resist.. Carol you and Bill are really enjoying this trip..and we are too...Keep taking those pictures..

Kay, you're TT looks nice and roomy and you'll find that truck to pull that rig..sometimes it just comes to ya when ya least expect it.. great deals are sure out there now...

I done bought a Double wide (technically I'm still mobile LOL ) I'm still RVing..I mean I drive down and I drive back...but I do go out on weekends too..So, no excuse.. Sparkle and her quiet day.. well.some how Sparky.. (while I'm smiling here) I am amazed that you have quiet days.. I mean something always wonders by ... but that dinner plate looks very good... You do a great show and tell... You can make my dinner anytime LOL... enjoy those moments by the water..it sure does look peaceful...

NaSoosie (Soos)..I have to tell ya reading your post about looking out your window and seeing the White pines and the hungry birds... while coming into my community I had a flock of those hungry birds in fact it was Big Bird himself..stopped right in front of my car.. and I leaned out my window and told him/her..be thankful it's not Thanksgiving ...LOL..dang those big birds..that could be a feast hahahahaha..uh oh sure hope PETA ain't readin this..

Table is set and I've got Coffee perking, kettle Whistling..and oooooh my lots of chairs to fill... come on in and join me... Apple Crumb Pie.. I've got a batch of Blueberry Muffins in the oven..and yep gonna make a Date nut bread.. So sit a spell and relax..and let's hear what's happening in your area... Oh and for this afternoon.. I'm making a pot of Minestrone Soup... have to have a bowl of warm soup with a grilled cheese..all are welcomed..

Good Morning, Barb, and all! Coffee smells good in this place, and it's cold enough to need something hot in my belly before I face day 2 of the work week. I do complain when that alarm clock goes off each morning, but I am always amazed at how time speeds up each year as I get older. It's not fair! A week used to seem like a century to me when I was a pup-----now I blink and a week has passed. Some morning that alarm is going to go off and when I turn in later that day, another year will have gone by!! STOP THIS SPEEDING UP THING!!!!

Sigh....guess I should just be happy that I am warm, nicely fed and clothed, have a pay check coming in every two weeks, nobody to boss me around, and a couple of nice, soft, warm 4-footers to keep me company. AND, that I have something fun to look forward to when it gets warm enough for me to move my trailer back out into the yard and begin packiing it for my first camping trip! I usually go to the nearby KOA for the first campout of the season, which is Memorial Day, if I remember. We always have that Friday and Monday off, and KOA has one free camping night at that time. I just have to hope that my driveway is solidified enough after thawing and turning into a bottomless mudpit for about a month! April is a month I have to walk in here and park on the main road.

good morning yep, I'm up early, Bandit wanted out and so now I'm awake and he's
done gone back to bed, ha, just not fair. Our weather is warming up comfortably,
shedding my jacket by 10 these mornings, so that is a good thing, although I'm not in
any hurry for summer. But soos, you are absolutely right, time seems to go faster
these days. Now, talking about stopping to smell the roses, yesterday I had one of
the girls get on the bus with a handful of roses for her teacher (I assume) and I could
smell them the whole way to school, sure smelled good, and when she got off, the
bus was littered with rose petals, it actually looked lovely and I left them scattered
down the aisle the whole day.
Off to do a little catching up on posts. Grab a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin
and call it breakfast

Oh Ava, I know it's not nice but I almost hated you for a minute there! Shedding your jacket by 10, maybe I'll be shedding mine by April! I am teetering on the edge of sanity this morning. I am trying to quit smoking AGAIN. I quit for 5 years then started back & this time it is soo much harder to quit. Throw in a little pre-menopausal hormones, 7 dogs & cold a$$ weather and, oh yea, I'm a freakin' lunatic right now. But I can relate to dressing up you pups Barbzeee. They've had their fleece jammies on for a while. They each have several pairs so it makes it a little easier. My naked pups definitely have more clothes than me. I am doing all the paperwork for us to be able to have a table at PetSmart. It would be great exposure for your group & I would love it if someone I knew adopted one of my fosters.

Today is baking day. I have 2 basket orders which I love to do. It is a lot of baking as there are several different kinds of treats in a basket. But they are so cute when I get thru it's worth it. I'm doing the doggy version of banana biscotti & Pup-A-Fours (petit fours). I'll post a pic when I finish them.

And Carol, I'll take a few of those tequila plants. I'd like some that are old enough to start harvesting! Great pics as always!

Sparkle, I hope you enjoy your quiet moments. That shrimp looked wonderful & I wish I was where you are!

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Gads I woke up before that stupid alarm went off this morning. Only beat it by 1/2hr but still and all, it's just not right. LOL

Snowed here yesterday. It was over cast when we left the house to go to work at 11:30 but sometime after we got in and started working it started snowing. ?? They were calling for up to 4" on the hills for this morning. But dang they were letting kids out at noon yesterday. Wondered what the heck was going on? People at work were freaking out about the snow!!! They started leaving it looked like rats deserting a sinking ship! By time Kelly and I went on lunch at 5pm the snow had quit falling. What little had stuck to the grass was just about gone. Have no idea what they got for snow in the hill and mountains around here. I know it's chilly out on my back porch this morning. Brrrrrr

Well I guess I will go check my email, do my clicks for breast cancer and animal rescue, then go read my news and get my comic fix.

its a sunny day here and not terribly cold. Looks very nice outside from these big windows here on the second floor of the school. After school we have a faculty meeting, then three basketball games. My granddaughter's game is the second one. She has very long blonde hair which is naturally wavy,... she's straightened it today. Doesn't even look like her!

Another beautiful day here in Florence Oregon !!! Bright blue sky and decent temperatures. I've been so pleased with the weather here !!! I was ready for steady rain - we've had a few weeks of that, but I've gotta say there's been more sun then rain.
I went rock hunting with my friend Paulie yesterday - we left at 10am and got back around 3 !! I was just shocked at how much time had gone by. We had fun, and found some nice rocks. What a wonderful way to spend the day !!!
Today I need to empty tanks and do some laundry and I definitely need to take Molly to the beach - I've made her stay home for the last two days because she hurt her leg a little bit on Sunday and I wanted her to rest. She seems tip top now so we'll go play on the beach.

Hello--------again----------well we have had ice & more ice & then snow & more ice & lost power for a while-- But not any thing like those South of us in Ark had------many are still without power------we have a generator --- & everything we need---so we were fine-----just no internet for a while!

I lost my link to this forum AGAIN---- & Beth had to post it on facebook for me again------
I have not had time to read the forum & play catch up-------But just Read Turdy's post & see she is in Florence, Or.
See RV Grannie is in Golfport, MS-------we have been there several times!!!!!

It's cold in FL this morning and predicted to be even colder tomorrow. Not good for getting ready for camping Fri. My house is full of construction dust as I'm having a room renovated. Will spend today doing battle to keep ahead of it.
