Isn't that "settled" when you file your income taxes? George worked as a "consultant" at IBT after he retired and he had to pay back ALL of his first year's social security payments because he made too much money (like there really is such a thing...) (interest free, however - thank you, Uncle Sam for always coming up with clever ways to spend other peeps' money). But obviously, that was a long time ago, and from what you're saying - things have changed a lot.
I also like the saying--life is what happens when you are making other plans.
