It is absolutely five o'clock somewhere! Pour the wine!
We're all holding our breath, waiting with you . . .

Ronnie is fine, thank y'all for the concern. He never hit the ground, so it could have been worse. We were getting ready to leave the campground, had just gotten him from his wheelchair to the lift seat, ready to slide him over to the truck seat when he lost his balance. Luckily he fell over into the truck where his head was on the console, torso slid under the steering wheel & legs hanging out. We tried to move him, but couldn't. There was no one else in our loop & no cell phone signal at all. We were honking the horn & I was screaming for help at the top of my lungs, hoping that someone would hear us. We were able to get him a grip on the console so he wouldn't slide any further & I ran up the road till I got one bar on my phone, got on the park website, got their phone number & called for help. Figured that would be quicker than 911 getting there. Two rangers came racing over, cutting across the grass, straight to us. I tell ya, they looked like the Calvary coming to save us, at that point I was crying & could barely talk from screaming. They were able to help me get Ronnie back in his chair, collect himself & then back in the truck safely. Other than a scrape on his hip & sore muscles & necks on both of us, I think he is all okay. Since he has no feeling from his upper chest down, I checked him good this morning for any bruising...oh I forgot, he does have a knot on his forehead. When we were putting him in the truck, the Rangers helped me lift him & they went so high he fell over face first into the truck door & saw stars. We all laughed that it was a good thing he has a hard head!
Anyway, we're here with Mitch & Phyllie. Mitch is doing her best to take it easy & that is so very hard for her....we remind her often.

Last night's dinner - burger on homemade, buttered, grilled bun (I did not lift the KitchenAid - had to have Phyllie do that), and roasted asparagus...yummo.
Now, in several hours, I hope to post a picture of The Little Beast sleeping with the Happy, Clean, Healthy Cell...
I cannot believe how scared I am.
Wish I could take a chill pill.
Or wine.
Yes, wine.
It's 5:00 somewhere, right?
