Did Vickie and Ronnie get to Mitch's house OK? Are Mitch and Vickie being mean to each other, yet?

Yes - all cute & all young & yummy, but is it wrong that at this point I'd rather have another horse than another man ?

Yes, my two Angels are being mean to me...

Now I have to go to bed. No vision of Sugar Plums in this head - I have Visions of Cowboys dancing in my head...

Oh, dinner was grilled pork chops, roasted asparagus, and fresh garden salad (with Get-Well cucumbers from Vickie's sister...)
YUMMO.

I love my Angels.
Thank you, God, for sharing them with me.

Aw, doesn't Mitch sound sweet? Well don't let that fool ya! She is still mean to us (when we won't let her do stuff she has no business doing!). I have to be mean SOME way, I can't threaten to push her in the pond, like I normally do.

Ronnie is fine, thank y'all for the concern. He never hit the ground, so it could have been worse. We were getting ready to leave the campground, had just gotten him from his wheelchair to the lift seat, ready to slide him over to the truck seat when he lost his balance. Luckily he fell over into the truck where his head was on the console, torso slid under the steering wheel & legs hanging out. We tried to move him, but couldn't. There was no one else in our loop & no cell phone signal at all. We were honking the horn & I was screaming for help at the top of my lungs, hoping that someone would hear us. We were able to get him a grip on the console so he wouldn't slide any further & I ran up the road till I got one bar on my phone, got on the park website, got their phone number & called for help. Figured that would be quicker than 911 getting there. Two rangers came racing over, cutting across the grass, straight to us. I tell ya, they looked like the Calvary coming to save us, at that point I was crying & could barely talk from screaming. They were able to help me get Ronnie back in his chair, collect himself & then back in the truck safely. Other than a scrape on his hip & sore muscles & necks on both of us, I think he is all okay. Since he has no feeling from his upper chest down, I checked him good this morning for any bruising...oh I forgot, he does have a knot on his forehead. When we were putting him in the truck, the Rangers helped me lift him & they went so high he fell over face first into the truck door & saw stars. We all laughed that it was a good thing he has a hard head!

Anyway, we're here with Mitch & Phyllie. Mitch is doing her best to take it easy & that is so very hard for her....we remind her often. :D

Wow, Vickie, that was so scary - so glad the calvary came running when you got hold of them. Sorry that it happened, but looking back I guess it could have been much worse, and you are probably almost to the stage where you can laugh about it all.

As to Mitch, you just keep being mean to her - she needs to rest and get well - and it will happen sooner if she doesn't push the physical. Mentally - she can kick butt - but physically, she (Yes, Mitch, I'm talking about you, not to you here) it's important that you keep her in line! So glad Phyllie was able to be there and you are now able to be there. Wish I could help more than just trying to be encouraging.

Oh, and Mitch? Don't you ever again tell me not to worry ... friends do that, ya know?

Ditto on the "not to worry" part from here, too....we all worry about you....it's what families do, worry and care about each other... ;) And, Mitch, just be glad you only have to listen to Vickie making you behave cause if you don't, all she needs to do is let us know and we'd all be there to help her... ;)

Glad that Ronnie is okay....Hugs to you all and think about you all the time...
