Tucker's on my lap in each picture I'm in. (He's being a little clingy this weekend.) :?

I did see him, but there must be more than one dog there?
And no photos of the potluck?? Who's in charge of the camera?

Would love to see the sand dunes! That was one huge dune buggy!

He's still at home and doing OK, altho he has been losing quite a bit of weight, so am concerned about that since he really can't afford to lose more. I know he isn't taking all his meals. Another doctor appointment on Monday, so we'll see...
Thanks for asking!

The West Coast gtg officially ended today. It was a rainy, cold gtg. The park wasn't the best due to all the rain, pine needles and mud but we made the best of it. Last night we had birthday cake that Ellen baked for K2 and Lyn. Lyn had already gone to bed but we saved her a piece and gave it to her this morning. It was yummy.

Some of you asked for more pictures but most of us didn't have our cameras out due to the rain. I have a few more pictures from happy hour yesterday that I'll try to get posted tomorrow. Also, the dogs weren't out much either because none of us wanted our rv's to smell like a wet dog. Harley was in a lot of the pictures looking out my screen door. He was perfectly happy to be there and I was perfectly happy that he was DRY.

I'm not sure what we'll do next year. I'm thinking earlier in the year when it isn't too hot or too cold and somewhere with a few more amenities like cable, wifi and full hookups but I will leave the planning to someone else for next year. I'm taking the year off ;)

I want to send out a big thank you to everyone that was able to make it this year. We are a hearty bunch! Special thanks to Ellen for providing the canopy that really helped keep the picnic table reasonably dry so we had gathering area.

I just have to say the weather didn't really matter that much. We made the most of it and had fun just visiting and getting to know each other. At least, for me, this being only my second rally....I really enjoyed it, rain, pine needles and all. Not having a planned agenda and everyone doing their own thing is the way to go. Thanks Laura for putting it together and letting us hang around your rig most of the time. You were the "hostess with the mostess."

I'm glad I was able to meet up with Karen, Lyn and Beth prior to the GTG at the Mill Casino Park. That was fun too...won a little, lost a little...mostly lost a little but fun anyway. Thanks Karen for showing me how to play those silly penny slots. Just wish I had had your luck! Like Laura said, we didn't get a lot of pictures because of the rain but here are a few I took. They aren't that good. I'm sure others have better ones but here they are anyway.

The University of Oregon's boat team was staying at Tugman and practicing on Eel Lake. Tina, these cute boaters could give your cowboys some stiff competition. We happened to catch them coming out of the showers, some with nothing but towels wrapped around their waists. There were about 90 of them. Below is one I caught carrying his boat. (Too bad I didn't get one of them coming out of the showers). The 35' boats and oars are pretty impressive Included are pictures of Eel Lake, the entrance to the park, Karen 2 blowing out candles on a birthday cake Ellen managed to whip up and another picture of our firemaker, Kari, fighting against the rain to keep the fire going.

Oops, didn't get one posted of Karen 2 blowing out candles. I think Laura has a better one she will hopefully post.

I'm looking forward to another rally sometime, somewhere, someplace...soon I hope!

Wow Judy you got some good pics. Thanks for posting them. The reason Judy didn't get any pics of the "boys" coming out of the showers was she was too dang busy drooling and interrogating them LOL They were "hotties" for sure. Seemed like nice young men...great eye candy also. Heck between Tina's cowboys and Judy's boaters I have been thoroughly entertained.

Was glad I got to meet up with Judy and Beth during the good weather. Glad Beth arrived safely and is in the "$$$" now. She will be able to buy lots of tacos when she goes to Baja.

Laura and I are parked at the Mill RV Park enjoying our good weather, no rain, no wind, no PINE needles. We both spent most of the afternoon sweeping and vacuuming up those darn things. There are still plenty on both our roofs but think they will blow off when we travel. We had to sweep around our "paved" sites here cause there were so many pine needles on the ground and we didn't want to track them back in the RV's lol. Enjoyed a good nights sleep with no rain pounding on the roof. It was a shame the weather was so lousy as it was great right before the GTG and now good after also. It did not inhibit our visiting and getting to know each other. Loved meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones.

I agree a huge thanks to Ellen and Kari (for giving a great gift to Ellen) and allowing us to use the big canopy to keep the rain off of us. We stayed reasonably dry for meals and happy hour. The birthday cake event took place in my Motorhome as the skies opened up and there was no way any of us could have stayed dry. We managed to all pile in and it worked out great.

Laura and I have a couple more days here and are planning on just relaxing and maybe going for a drive down the southern coast today. Chicken in the crockpot so we have dinner covered. Hope to pick up some shrimp and maybe some oysters. We had a "Whopper meal" yesterday as we were just too tired to even make a sandwich (good excuse anyway).

Finally got to a park with wifi, or I should say slow-fi. It was a lot of fun meeting everybody and thanks Laura for putting all this together. The park was pretty, the sites good, the dune ride great, but some of the rain we could have done without. Sorry I had to rush out, naturally the only time anyone was driving down the camp road was when I was blocking it hitching my car. Thank you, thank you for all the birthday wishes. At least the candles didn't set Karen's motor home on fire.

Glad the rest of you are having good weather. Yesterday I drove through some of the heavist rain I have seen, especially in Merlin Susan. Lot's of construction, but a pretty good campground for an overnight after 5-1/2 hours driving. Today I'll be going on to Rio Vista on the Sacramento river delta for a couple of days. Then to Yosemite Valley for 10 days of of no hookups. I think I'll have kicked the tv habit after this trip - LOL

Hope you all are doing good and having FUN.

Thanks for posting all the pictures girls. Too bad you had the rainy weather but looks like you enjoyed anyway. Those still traveling, have fun. Karen (K2) are there RV parks around Rio Vista? Have been to a rally at Sugar Barge on the Delta and have stayed at a park in French Camp.

Glad I got to see a few of you - wish I could have seen the rest - rain and all. But so glad to see the pictures. I do have a couple pics from the casino - still on my camera ... bad, bad me. Will try to get to them soon. Promise.

Had a great time at the GTG in spite of the rain. We did have some sun and managed to walk the dogs inbetween showers so no wet dog smells.
Got home today at 1pm after spending the night near Albany, OR. Can hardly wait til next year.

I had a good time. The weather was not friendly, but the ladies were. They made me feel very welcome. I've been trying to post a few not very good pix from my phone. But can't seem to do it. Oh well. If that 's the worst that happens...oops too late. Again. Thanks ladies. Rain and all it was terrific.

I had a great time and Kari said she did too. The rain actually provided a good balance between socializing and alone time. And the Oregon Dunes was an amazing adventure!

Laura, you did a ton of work for this GTG - I know you drove to about a gazillion places to check them out for us. I thought this park was fine. And the rain? Well we were in Oregon afterall!

Our drive north back to Spokane was beautiful along US 101. We stopped in Depoe Bay for some chowder and taffy and some great pix, like this one of an incoming water spout. ?Is that the right word?

Looking forward to getting together with all my new friends, somewhere, sometime.
