Glad to here you are home too Mitch. But like the others said, Crap with that medicine. Hope the infection will get out of your system soon so you can start feeling better. As far as looking, time will come for that. One thing at a time. You just rest and get pampered for now.

"Heal." And think of the hand that comes forward and touches your forehead....in a good way. :) Still sending some wind your way to get under your wings. (Even if it just sounds like hot air! :)

Sorry to hear you ended up back in the hospital... After looking at the medication you're on, I wonder if you could ask your Dr. to change it, just in case it's just not 'right' for you....
Anyhow, sending prayers each AM & PM... best I can do from here. Take care & let others do for you....

Mitch, in all my years of visiting women after breast surgery there were very few "pieces of cakes", just some better than others, so seeing that smile on your face was encouraging. TGM remembers that I showed him my "no breast" right away, but it took me almost 2 weeks to brave it. Shut myself in the bathroom, looked, sat on the toilet seat and had a good cry. You'll look when you are ready. ((((Hugs)))). Ps. I was NOT a good patient, but tGM was a GREAT and patient caregiver, along with my sister and best friend. Caregivers, embrace them!

Mitch, sure hope you are feeling much better this morning.
I cannot take that pain med either - really is not for everyone tho very commonly prescribed.

Just seeing this latest update now, and am hoping you are back on the road to a more comfy recovery. You can't imagine how much comfort having Phyllis there, and soon Vickie, is giving us who worry about you and pray for you and think of you. To think you were hell-bent on trying this healing process all alone there! Good grief!

It's good that Carol can talk to you, as she is one who has been in your shoes. The rest of us can only imagine, and try to empathize.

Sending healing powers and strength your way via magic airwaves, or some such entity. As Tina said, when you feel that hand on your brow, breathe in deeply and absorb whatall we have to offer out here. We are right there with you even if you can't see us.

And, when you take that first peek at your new body, remember those fabulous tattoos and design one for you right then and there! I will look for a more recent update in a little while, when I take a break from sorting and tossing duties in the house. ACK!

Dear Mitch,
I don't get here very often and was so sorry to hear of all you are going through. In 2011 I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Eleven hour surgery and six days in the hospital. I was down and out for eight weeks. It is now a vague memory and soon it will be for you too. Soon I will be getting rose tattoos instead of nips. You go girl!

Sorry for the set back, but happy you are back at home. Hope you have new meds that will not have the same side effects. Thinking about you and wishing you will now have a speedier, more pain free recovery.

I've been gone a few days (no WiFi) and am just now catching up with this post. I'm so sorry for all you have to go through, Mitch, and the ups and downs. Hopefully, you will sail through to the other side soon and resume your chosen lifestyle again.

Add my thanks to Vicki, too, for keeping us all informed.
