Glad you're all having a good time in spite of the rain. I sure miss seeing all of you from last year's GTG and getting to meet the new people. I am enjoying Maui however Hope the weather improves and have fun no matter what!!! I know you will.

There was a break in the weather today so a group of us headed up to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation area about 30 miles from the campground for a little fun in the sand.


We decided to take the big buggy tour


It was a little breezy but it wasn't raining


This was one of the hills we went down. Nose first. Pretty fast. It was exciting after we all realized we weren't going to die


We stopped out in the middle of the dunes to check out the sand.

This is a fascinating place that even though I grew up in Oregon, I've never visited. I will be back.

We had our potluck tonight with tons of great food! Nothing much planned for tomorrow. The weather has slowed us down a bit but never stopped us. Today, it just sprinkled a little but nothing like the biblical rains we got last night.
