Must be the wonderful influence of Phyllie or the pain drugs, or a combination of the two - Mitch has managed to stay off the forum! Shock of all shocks. Truthfully, that's a good thing. Let yourself heal - but know, you truly are missed.

Mitch, hoping the pain will subside quickly but do take your meds to stay on top of it. That way you will be able to follow other instructions to move around. So important after surgery. Take care.

Spent last evening in the hospital - fever of 102.4.

And do you all know a side effect of Lortab????
Well, honestly - you don't want to know! OUCH.

So, Phyllie is out now, picking up an antibiotic prescription and some Pepto and another similar product...

Fever now is only 100.2.

This sure ain't the stroll in the park I was anticipating. Not even close.

Haven't worked up the nerve to take a peek at my new boobies...

Glad you're home Mitch, even tho last night may not have been good. You'll be more comfortable at home I'm sure.
Take those pain meds & go to a happy place. ;)

:( :( Well crap! Told ya the doc didn't know what he was talking about when he said it was easy. Sorry about the fever, must be an infection somewhere but meds should clear it up. You'll look when you're ready. hugs, my friend.

Here is a link to the side effects of that drug.

http://www.drugs.com/sfx/lortab-side-effects.html

What nasty stuff! Can't they give you something else that is a little (lot!) easier on you? Like you don't already have enough to deal with!

Take it easy and hope you feel better now and all that nastiness is over with! Poor thing! :(

That Well Crap pretty much sums it up, doesn't it. Hopefully the antibiotics get the infection out of your system quickly - which might then allow you to start feeling better. Sux. So, so glad Phyllie is there, and that Vickie will be coming before she leaves - and that you were given no choice in the matter!

May not feel like it now, but "this too shall pass". And as for looking ... no hurry ... when you're ready.
