Wet Friday Morning

Good Morning everyone,

Bit damp here this morning. Had rain during the night and at one point accompanied by a short but bright lightening storm. Cold front supposed to come through by tomorrow and really cool things off again.

Thinking of Mitch this morning and wondering how she did last night. Hopefully she had a peaceful night.

BarbaraRose, sending prayers out to your SIL too. You have mentioned her upcoming surgery a few times, but we have been so busy concentrating on Mitch that we haven't said much your way. Hope all went well for her as well.

I'm waiting for cousin to pick me up and head off to the Retina Specialist this morning. Will be glad to get that out of my way and find out if anything needs to be done on left eye or just monitor it for awhile. Then will come home and busy myself with organizing my craft stuff so I can start up in the sign making dept. again.

Just some oatmeal, strawberrie and blueberries here for breakfast if anybody's interested. I'm sure there are others of you who can come up with a better fare than that. Maybe lori? Although she's been more than generous these past few mornings

Good morning all. Woke up to a bit of a chill and realized I was out of propane. Fortunately, I have a spare bottle and tossed that on and since temps are in the 40s, nobody was freezing. Should be a sunny day. Gearing up for the big Pumpkin Patch this weekend. Nice to see the campground busy again.

Hope you all have an awesome Friday and I'll be sending pain-free thoughts Mitch's direction.

Good morning, Sue, Amy and all that follow...

Cooler in GA this morning....66F when I got up at 7AM....yep, I slept in...it wasn't straight thru as had to visit the bathroom a couple of times, but no 4AM today....took the tylonel PM at bedtime....so that worked....

Glad Mitch did well with her surgery....hope she's feeling well enough to go home today....

Well, this is short.....got to get my butt out of this chair and get going....

Raining here in SW Arkansas, kind of matches my mood. Nice and cool, door and windows open. Lori, for some reason we're channeling each other! I took a Tylenol PM last nite and slept thru til 7 with a couple of potty breaks. A little dopy this morning from it, too. Hoping Mitch had a good nite, or as good as can be expected. Barbi, hope your SIL is doing well also. Off to get some breakfast and see what my DIL is up to today. Have a great day!

Good morning

Moving slow this morning. Tooth still bothering me and stiff back.

Looks like I will get a late start on my last day toward home. If you plotted my path think it would look like wanderings of a drunken snake as I have zig zagged east/west so much in going south - some deliberate to make a few mini gtg; others due to full campgrounds, road closures, etc. I did post a couple of photos in gtg section of my latest stop in TN.

Disturbing news from older niece. Younger niece was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this week. I don't have details yet but please add her to your prayer list.

Still have a lot to do before I can get on the road. At least the sun is out this morning but rain forecast for later today. Think I can beat it out of here; just hope I can stay ahead of it for the drive home.

I'm hoping Mitch goes home today with no trouble, and that Sue's eye appointment has good news for her.

Other than that, I'm just buying paint today. Although that's practically an adventure in itself!

GOOD LATE MORNING TO ALL AGAIN!

I spend my time reading all the posts that are unread first now, and then I get on here to contribute----hence, I am late with postings. (However, I do sleep now until the warm rays of the sun shine through my east-facing bedroom window in this trailer before I slip out from under my nice warm sleeping bag! The sun is rising ever later and later, as we all know. )

I am sending strength and healing powers to all who are suffering from ailments of any kind. It seems as if the dreaded C disease is making itself very unwelcome with many of us lately, and it's time to put a stop to this.

Sue, your weather is always a day behind ours, so I guess I'd better prepare for some rain tomorrow and then the cold front that will replace this nice late-summer-like weather we have had the past two days and today also. I need to get moving and do my outside chores today, saving the inside stuff for the rain.

Hope all will have a fine Friday whether traveling or whatever. It's fun to read what's going on in all the different parts of our realm we cover as members of this group! Happy trails to all!

Good Morning... we also had a shower in the night... I woke at 4 needed a potty break then could not fall asleep for a while so made use of my time and prayed for the ones we care about... I think it is wonderful that we have such caring people on here... have met some but not all by far...

My life has taken a strange turn... I may have someone to go to FL with... not real sure just yet... that would be so good...

Yes Soos the big C is invading so many of the people we know and love... it is very strange... what is causing this to happen?
