Gosh Lyn, That wasn't real smart, but it sure was a variation of something any of us might try just so we don't have to ask for help. You got off easy with nothing broken. And tell your SIL you are acting your age!

Sue, Mitch, you two are on my prayer list for good outcomes & peace while waiting.
Lyn, you are on my prayer list for continued safe landings & less items that are out of your reach.

Vicki, you are on my prayer list for comprehension when reading these posts, so you don't end up following a recommendation incorrectly. :D

God bless this group!!!

Sue, hope you get good news soon.

Lyn, that was not smart. I have a dear friend in critical condition in FL because he wouldn't wait for his son in law to help him trim a palm tree. He fell from a ladder. He did this last year and he is on a respirator still. We need to ask for or accept help when offered. Hear me? :?

Thanks everyone. Love this compassionate and caring group. And the laughs that go along with it. I kind of got that same thought when I read Vickie's thread about the ocean too and then reading farther brought laughs

Lyn, you be careful. It's tough to ask for help, I know. Been there done that. I can get as stubborn as a mule sometimes when I need to do something and should ask somebody for help. Most of the time I usually figure out someway to do it myself, bu.....

Good luck. Known how you feel. Dad has been legally blind in one eye since an accident in his youth, and is now dealing with a cataract in his good eye. Get as many opinions as you need to feel comfortable with any treatments recommended.

Sue, sending you strength and patience to make it through these next weeks of waiting and hopefully appropriate response whether that is treatment or more monitoring. Keep us in the loop.

So sorry about your eye problems. Praying the worry is for naught and all will be well soon.
