Not much of a frost here, but Soos? Looks like you got it. Well, after a crazy summer of weird weather, what can we expect

Nothing much going on here, so just wishing y'all a great start to the weekend! Safe travels to those on the road 8-)

Good morning all! Not much going on here as well. Weather hot, hot, hot. Had a bunch of lightening and thunder as a teaser, but no rain. Had appt with gastro dr. Get to have that wonderful test next week. Trying to get all those screening tests done by end of year :P Trying to keep Tyler from chewing his stitches. So I put one of my t shirts on him! Does the trick, but he looks ridiculous  Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Good Morning Carolb, Chris and everyone,

Must be "ho hum" day today as nothing much going on here either. Just the debate as to whether or not to work out in garage reorganizing stuff or hit the road and go watch the Antique Tractors parade over the Mackinac Bridge on their way to St. Ignace. I have a feeling that is going to win out. Haven't been anywhere' since I took Peggy up there a couple of weeks ago. So it might be time to just take a day and bum with Sassy. It's quite a sight watching all those tractors cross that bridge. There can be as many as 700, some years more, some years less.

Been wondering how the MI wanderers are doing in the far western U.P. I imagine that they will be coming out of the "wilderness" today. Cell phone service up in that part of the state is iffy at most in some places, so I know they are out of communication with us for now. Hope they saw some beautiful scenery, waterfalls etc. And that Sarah did well in her first Boondocking 101" course :)

Have a nice day everyone.

Good Morning,

Chilly here in Northeast Ohio - even had to get the heater out!!

I will start my 2 day trek across Pennsylvania today using secondary roads - not a freeway fan.

Have a good day and safe travels!

Here in SW Ohio, another day of waking up early to be dressed and ready for the flooring crew to arrive. This is day four of getting new floors and from the progress made it appears that there may be additional days needed next week, sigh. With the nice weather here the dogs have spent most of the days outside, thankfully, and the cats have passed the big test of finding and using the cat litter that was relocated in a new location. Anyone with cat experience knows that moving the litter placement isn't always as successful as one would like!

It will be nice to have NO CARPET..... but the in between disorder and mess is not positive for my psyche...."This too will pass...." is my moto and I try to find errand everyday that take my out of the house for chunks of time....

Travel safely all you who are out there on the journeys of life. If you hit a detour, recalculate, and journey on.....watch the scenery, there are new things to learn in all of life's adventures. :) Even the trips you never want to see again!

Red, it seems like it has been extra hot here too. I told my son that I'm about ready to start complaining about it being too cold. We have had so much rain that I didn't realize that some of the state is under a burn ban. It is a lot drier North of here.

I finally got my van back. So, now where can I go. Since my son was with me I picked up my MacBook Air. He set it up for me or it would still be in the box. I'll be wandering around trying to find things. At least I made it here.

I have to make or buy 3 cakes for a bingo on Sunday. I can't think of anything I want to make so they will probably get box cakes or brownies. I know my DH would rather have the brownies. Bingos are not my thing but I will probably have to work.

Tina, good luck with the flooring. I need to get back on that but hate to think of all the mess and moving things. The carpet that came in our trailer isn't the best quality and between my DH and the cats it hasn't held up. It looks ok if I shampoo it but I don't like to do that. I love the tile in the kitchen and dinning room but of course they quit making it. I could put wood in the living room and hall but I'm afraid to put anything too slick for us old decrepit people.

Mitch, I leave out of Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 21 and will stay over in Whitefish at a small motel until I can drive out to the "ranch". The air fare for 7 days was much cheaper than flying on Sunday the 22. It will give me an extra day to see the sights around town. The Guest Ranch is just to the west of Glacier National Park. :D So I am looking forward for the beautiful scenery to take my mind off of my sore butt and thighs....

Really late to the table today....but we were up early at the hayfield, packed up and ready to hit the road for Gettysburg to attend our Nephew's wedding tomorrow....Currently we are parked in the parking lot of the golf course where the wedding will be held in the club house ....so 2 more days of boondocking.....

This will be short as I'm so tired from the ride....my 1st long one since the surgery....

Hope your Friday is the best...

Posted on FB that I had met a gal and five guys returning home after a week at Burning Man. My smart alek younger cousin said he remembers when I didn't know what burning man was. I told him, that I have always been able to recognize a hot dude.
