Oh it's Saturday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Oh it's Saturday!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

It's much to early for me to be out of bed. Us night shifters get use to sleeping late. YAWN

Gads I'm fighting to keep my eyeballs open this morning. I've been up since 5:30 and I'm really having a hard time getting my motor running. The coffee sure did hit the spot this morning but I think I'm gonna have to do a whole pot just for myself. YAWN

Going into work this morning to grab a little bit of overtime. Talk about missing hours and pay. For the past 2wks I have 81hrs in and Kelly has just under 80hrs. I know I was crabbing about all the overtime but dang!! Pay check is taking a beating going from 100+ hrs to just 80 sure does lose ya a chunk of money. Told Kelly we will have to start going in a little early during the week to grab at least a little overtime. And yep we got stuck with night shift again this coming week. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok coffee is here waiting for all you sleepy heads along with the left over goodies from yesterday. I grabbed a small piece of the apple cake and ya'll can have what's left.

Hey Cedar? Have ya got basketball hangover this morning? LOL 3 games in one night again. Dang!!!

Hmmm? Wonder how the crew in Port A is feeling this morning????

Hope everyone has a great day and remember to stay safe and warm.

Love to all

GOOD MORNING, ALL!!

Sorry you got the night shift AGAIN, Echo. It sounds as if all you ever do is work, work, work. I hope you can find some time to get some rest and smell the roses somewhere!

I am wondering how the Port A group is feeling this morning, too, and wondering if Elvis found them all again! :)

It's VERY cold here again this morning----time for me to get a nice roaring wood fire going for me and the 4-footers. I managed to get some snowshoeing in yesterday after school, and it's a good thing I did, as today's too cold with that wind chill factoring in.

Happy Saturday to you all-----hope to hear about your day later.

Okay, that's it. Party time is over. I'm back to being my sensible self. I got myself home, thank heavens it was walking distance, and as my DH used to say, I passed out like a lady. I'm feeling fine. I never get a hangover, so no punishment for me. I think I had a good time, just wish I could remember it.

well good morning to ya
have a busy day planned today, I haven't done a thing all week so today I'm cleaning
house. Not surprised how messy a small place can get in just one week and its just
me and the dogs! I also need to finish my current afghan I've been working on, its
hard to sit and do it on the weekends as the girls just want to crawl up in my lap and
"disturb" the natural flow of the yarn, bless their little hearts. I've worked on it at
work during my layovers but its just gotten too big to haul into work. Daughter has
already informed me she needs two baby afghans for friends so I'll need to get started
on those.
Now, about those Cardinals, the town is going nuts of course, and I really don't get
into football but I do support my friends and coworkers and they of course want the
Cardinals to win. I just might have the game on or at least surf it on occasssion just
so I won't feel "out of the loop" come monday morning at work.
What else is on my agenda....hmmmm, taxes :o gotta pay gotta pay, seems when
human resources put the whole payroll system on computer and went paperless, some
how my exemption was put in as "10" as at that time I had changed it from 1 to 0 and
it came out 10. :? My fault?, their fault", who knows, my supervisor personally went
over to human resources and corrected it so at least for next time it will be correct.
Doesn't do anything for my budget right now though, will be making alot of lemonade
this year.
I've mentioned a health issue, thats in the works too, making a seperate post for that
cause it gets a little lengthy.
Well enjoy your Saturday and hope everyone is staying warm and in their comfort zone.

Morning everyone. It's 7:12 here and the sun is just now peaking over the hills behind us. It's 60 degrees out so looks like today is going to be a warm one. I can't believe it is already the 31 of Jan. Time flies. We are 80 days and 3800 miles into our trip. Got an email from the lady taking care of our house. Over a foot of snow - last year we never got more than 3 inches and it was gone the next day. At least the ice storm seemed to have missed there - no problems with power. Did lose our temporary roof? canopy? over our bedroom deck. Well that will give Bill something to do this summer - build a nice wood one.
We will be moving into Mazatlan later today, its just 60 miles down the road. We'll be on the outskirts of town - thank goodness - driving in these cities is a bear - narrow streets, crazy drivers. Its a fairly new park and has some big spaces in t he back but don't think we can get wifi back there - we'll see - maybe my air card will work again. Where we are now is pretty, but out in the middle of nowhere. Don't know how people can come here and spend 3 months at a time. Kind of looking forward to be in a town again. Need to do some "gift" shopping. Will let you know one way or another.
Hope everyone has a great day. Now to check on the PA gang!

Good Saturday morning to all of you. Echo, I hate that you have to work all those hours, but I understand about the paycheck. I pray the Grand Canyon will be a wonderful change of pace for you.

I filled out my tax return yesterday. Expect a $72 refund which means I figured my withholding just about right. I adjust what's withheld each year to coincide with my estimate of what I'll owe. Like to break even or at least close. Don't want to pay too much and let the gov't. keep my money all year, but don't want to owe a lot at tax time either.

We're having winter again for a few days here in FL...a balmy 32 degrees for you Nasoosie, but cold for me. Funny I don't seem to mind the cold when traveling to cold places in the summer time, but can't tolerate it in FL in the winter!

We're all up early anxious to hear the details of the Texas gtg...and photos too please.

Morning all! It's too cold here for me to Liz. 37 right now. At least the sun is out. Always makes me feel better to see the sun. I don't feel well this morning, I haven't for the past couple days. I have Lupus & sometimes it flares up pretty good. This is one of those times. Today will probably be like yesterday, stay in & rest. I woke up to find DH gone & no note. :? Kind of unusual but I guess he'll turn up eventually.

I'm going to cruise the board & see what you all are up to. Hope you all have a good weekend!
