Congratulations..... It is wonderful and well deserved. Lady, you have skills, talents and an excellent brain and a healthy work ethic to match! :) All qualities appreciated in a work environment. Don't forget to have fun. And remind them that you might want some time off in Jan and Dec......see how that goes. :)

Wow, Beth! I haven't been able to post for awhile (perhaps won't be able to get this sent either), but I can't believe how fast things change! You're on the move south and a nice new position at Amazon waiting for you. Ko-o-o-l! We can make you an official California snowbird!

I don't know what my problem is the last couple of months with the forum - did something change that my old puter doesn't like? I was waiting for Sharon to come back from her wanderings to help me, but maybe I'll send you a PM outlining the exact problem and when you get solid ground under your feet you can answer me. What am I saying - California and solid ground? Ain't no such thing!

Anyway, congrats gf!

OK I'll quit whining....You'll actually be 100 miles closer than Nevada would have been. Guess I'll have to grab Evie and Lyn and head north!

Let me know when you plan to come Sharon and maybe I can join you. Perhaps Diana (mtngal) and Linda (Rufflesgirl) could come too and we could have a GTG.

Oh what fun. A California gtg. I'll let you know my schedule as soon as I know it.

Many years ago, I had a dessert in SF called Puffs. Bought it from a food cart near the wharf. Mine had fruit and whipped cream but they could also be a meal with veggies and/or meat. Let me know if still available. Yum!

I'm sad  you won't be at the NW GTG, but maybe I can connect with you as I head through California late October/early November. :)

I'll be ready for the Calif gtg!!! Sharon, when are you returning to this heat? I had dinner with a friend from Sacramento last night...she said it is hotter in San Diego than in Sacramento!!!!! That's probably a first. Joan, that fruit cup with the whip cream sounds like something I would like!!! lyn
