Interesting RV

This 1976 GMC Extravaganza parked behind me yesterday. They sold new for $18,000. Think the owner said it is 26 or 27 feet but looks bigger, probably due to all the windows. Anyway I've been peeking out at it all day and also watching in awe at them cooking on open fire with all sorts of cast iron cookware (he has a collection of Griswald).
Finally got to talking to the lady when I took Nicky out for walk and got a chance to see inside. It is very impressive. Learned it had been repainted a couple of years ago and inside remodeled. The workmanship is excellent; turns out husband is a master cabinet builder as well as a good cook.

Rear Bedroom has full bed and there is a daybed and dinette forward. Large kitchen with very generous counter space.

Love it! Maybe they will ask you to sample some of their dutch oven cooking.

If I could afford it, I would love a vintage RV That has been remoldeled.

I love those old GMCs. Heard they get awesome gas mileage. But you'd need to very mechanical to maintain a vintage rig.
