anybody have a thermal cooker? if you do, did you use it?
Mitch, the gadget girl that she is....certainly must have one :D
Think I'm going to add this to my kitchen so I can slowcook while boondocking.
You can google thermal cookers and lots of links come up but I like this one...

After bringing it to a boil on the stove, put it in the thermal outer pot, it will continue to cook for 10-30 minutes. Doesn't seem like very long to me. What would you cook in it, Ava?

Ava,
This looked intriguing to me too... so I looked on Amazon. There's only 13 reviews but they're pretty mixed on how well it cooked the food. :(

well, I just don't know, but I sure like cooked apples with cinnamon and rice and I would assume it comes with a little recipe book. :D
If I get one.....and thats a big IF, cause I certainly have other things more important to spend my money on, but if I do I'll do a review

Ava, which one of the two you linked to would you get? The second one looks more "substantial", although a bit more expensive.

Gadget Girl that I am, I don't have one of these!
(I'm running out of room in the kitchen...)
