Hey, it's Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Hey, it's Saturday

Is everyone still sleeping?

Latest news on Beck, he is off the piroxicam and will be seeing a holistic vet in two weeks, hopefully "natural" will be a better way for my baby. Alexis gave me a scare with a bump on her muzzle, but vet said its nothing and to watch that it doesn't grow.

Hope everyone is doing well and have some good plans for the holiday weekend. If anyone is out this way, stop on by Monday for a cheddar stuffed burger.

Good morning Bonnie & all to come :D

Glad to hear about Beck--hope the natural works for him! Yep, Saturday of the last "summer" holiday weekend. Red, I'm like your DH. No need for me to be out there since I'm retired & can go other times, so let the working people have their fun  Wow, but you were already there ON YOUR OWN!!! Yep, you can do it!

Kathleen, your neighbor??? So strange! Glad you had good experiences with "online" friends, Barbie. Catherine! Wow, what a trip you're having :P

Canning more maters today. Hmm, don't know why we don't have so many this year, BJ. I've been meaning to ask if you snuck out here to do something to them  If you did, I'll gladly reward you

But, I've been crazy busy since I got home from my midwest trip, thankfully having some down time in the evenings. And with that, I'll get on with my day!

So y'all have a great day/weekend, & Soos, don't forget "rabbits"!! Safe travels to all 8-)

Good morning everyone. OMG is it Rabbits already. Tomorrow is Sept 1st. This summer, I mean, this whole year went by at super sonic speed. I sure wont miss the heat :P I'm still going through stuff and sorting; send to kid, Goodwill or keep. The send away and Goodwill piles are bigger than the keep piles. So, I think I'm making progress. Then I need to go clean RED and look at those lists of monthly maintenance items. Had her for a whole 6 months now!! Everyone have a fun Labor Day weekend and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Just getting ready for work here. Speaking of Soos, haven't seen a post from her for awhile, or did I miss one?

Finally starting to cool off around here! Whew! I shut off the AC and had the windows open all night for some much needed fresh air. :D

My ankle is finally starting to look and feel much better! Still keep it wrapped up for work tho since I am on my feet all day and that gives it extra support.

Hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and stay safe!

(and don't forget to say "RABBITS!" first thing tomorrow morning for a month of good luck!!)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good Morning... coffee is good and hot will share... I do not go out on holidays either Carolb no need like you said we can go anytime...

Well I am not sure about Cindy my neighbor... she had to get fuses in her car yesterday... she said she was leaving today... her car is still there... well who knows what it is today... her air conditioner does not work so if it is hot it will be awful to drive to KY... will tell you if she goes and what I hear...

This is like a soap opera... lol

Bonnie I too hope the holistic works for Beck... Barbie be careful with that ankle they can get bad again in a second... keep it wrapped like you are... Carolb any maters left for me? I always liked to can them last as the acid in them cleaned the stains from all of the fruit I canned...

If anyone is on the road please watch out for the other guy...

Not guilty Carol, I have heard several people say their tomatoes didn't do well this year so I guess you will have to blame the weather for helping you out
Kathleen, your neighbor may at least be smart enough to wait until this heat wave is over if her A/C isn't working. It does sound like a soap opera but then there are people who seem to attract a lot of drama to their lives.
The weather forecast says one more day of this heat and cooler weather will arrive, I am ready!! I think a lot of outdoor activities will be reconsidered today. Fortunately I've had several friends visit and people here for Reiki and Hypnosis this week so staying in hasn't been too bad. Most mornings it has been cool enough for a walk but this morning it was already 75 and really humid before seven so we cut it short.
I hope everyone has a safe fun weekend!

good morning ladies
well, it has been one heck of a week. Friend at work got a clean bill of health and will be back to work on Tuesday. Little mini strokes,
no damage, on medication and still amongst the living. His wife told us all if we see him smoking to set him on fire.
Of course being Saturday, I'll do my routine laundry and chores but also planning a trip out to the neighboring town of Mesa to check out
a couple rv parks to plant myself in. :D If I get the tires this month, I'll be able to rent a space next month and still be able to pay for
my trip to San Diego in October for the wedding. My original plans were to get the remodel done first and then move in but too much
drama going on here that puts stress on us (me and Maggie). I'm not getting the rest I need to stay healthy. I can still do the remodel
while I'm in but it will just be a little inconvenient. I can deal with that cause its my "own" inconvenience and not someone elses. Does
that make sense?
Coffee is fresh and theres bananas and cereal for breakfast.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

It's "High Noon" here right now....have been busy, but pacing myself in my '"chores" this morning cause I want to attend the "Corn Roast" at the family farm today...so, it was walk the dog,....rest.....eat something for breakfast.....rest.....take a shower and do all my "wound care".......rest.....make my "Crock Pot Mac & Cheese".....rest....do up the dishes....now I'm resting again   I plan to leave here about 1PM for the farm.....Ernie & Spinner are staying here today...It's always a pretty big crowd for the corn roast and they just don't do large crowds well....

Rain in the forecast for today, so hope it stays away until this evening cause it's kinda' hard to roast corn in a bonfire with it raining....

Well, sounds like everyone has their day planned.....Safe travels for those on the road...

Have a great day, all....

avalen, In Mesa, we use to stay at Trail Riders Holiday Park 2460 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85213, (480) 969-3350. It's gated, has a pool, clean and nice people. But, they do not allow pets.

Figured it might be a deal breaker. Most everyone has a pet.

No morning coffee here as it is 5:09 MT but a few cold beers are in the fridge. The manager where I work camp escaped certain death today. He was to take a helicopter ride to get aerial photographs of the hot springs spa. The guy called him this afternoon but Jake was out with his wife and did not have his camera. The pilot took some other people up, they touched a powerline, crashed and killed those on board. The helicopter flew right over my office just beforethe crash. Scary!

Kathleen, I am being very careful with my ankle since I can't afford to miss any work. It does start hurting again towards the end of my shift, but the girls and my manager have been very good about letting me rest in between haircuts when needed (rather than sweeping, cleaning, etc).

Had some storms come thru here earlier. Most of the severe stuff went south of me but the cooler weather is right behind it. I am happy about being able to keep my windows open at night now, except I also get affected by allergies when I do that.

That woman should call her soon to be husband and ask him to send her some money to pay for getting her car fixed so she can get out there to marry him!

That corn roast sounds great, Lori! I found some great sweet corn at a local store here that is so sweet and crispy! Need to go pick up some more while it lasts! Yum! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
