to mind we had a truck that had only the shorter ones and my sister in law sat in the back it was funny watcher her do the 'crawl' to get into the back..yep you want full length...

As to running boards, I'd talk to the dealer. I agree with what others have said about getting them for the length of both doors. They sure do make life so much easier for us short folks. (And, I too, have trouble with the over 5' 3" people calling themselves short or vertically challenged. Especially when the average woman's height in the US is 5'4.6" (look for yourself: http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/pu ... hart.shtml ). Wikipedia just says 5'4" which is what I've always heard. I just liked that other chart cuz the .6 made me smile.

As to building up the seat, sit in it first. I'm only 5'0 - and I do not need to sit on anything, but HAVE to have a cushion behind me driving my truck/rv - as the length of the seat itself is the problem with my short legs. I've tried all kinds of pillows, and find a small cushion now is working best. Have used regular bed pillows, and Peaches now sleeps on the great memory foam one that Sparkle gave me. In a pinch either of those will work, but the small one works best for me. You'll have to experiment for you. Sitting on a cushion just made me further from the pedals, and more uncomfortable. The only time I didn't need this type of cushion in a truck was one with an electric seat that allowed it to tilt down enough to not cut off circulation in my legs.

Sure if purdy Mitch. As for the running boards, this shortie (5'3" & shrinking) had them on an past SUV. Never used them. I think I was either too tall to use them cuz I kept hitting my head, or too short to use them cuz I kept scrapping my legs getting out.

Sweeet! Love the color! When my husband bought his last truck he told the salesman it had to have running boards and electric seat 'cause his short squirrel couldn't drive it without them. I still have the truck. Don't really need it but still have it. Enjoy the new ride! But now what are you gonna worry about???? Since you don't have the weight to worry about.....

I personally don't have a cover but the BakFlip HD Tonneau Cover is a popular choice and was recommended to me. Several of the drivers/farmers I work with have them on their trucks.

As for the running board, yes on both doors but make sure it does not come back and hook to the bed. Some of the running boards come back along the bed to help you get things out of the bed but as the cab and bed flex it will cause issues.

Also find one of these handy for reaching things and getting in bed. Its a little folding step stool http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/e-z-foldz-folding-step-stool-9-black/27647 think I found mine at Harbor Freight.

That's a great idea, Melissa - to keep one of those little folding stools in the truck bed.
I have one in the trailer (yes, ladies, I need it even in my tiny little trailer...)

About the running boards - you mean that they go all the way to the bed so you can stand on it (instead of the little folding stool)? Never saw that, but that's good to know they might cause trouble...
