OMGosh - I forgot all about Pedro...
Well, at least I'll be able to add him to the ride now AND the ice maker
(with the van, it was George OR the ice maker...)

Sweet ride, here's a site to give you some ideas on running boards. They made it much nicer getting in and out of my truck. My partner is also height challenged (5' 4.75") and is about the only way to get her in the truck. http://www.runningboardwarehouse.com/crewcab2005-2008.aspx

As for covers that can also lock for cargo security. http://www.realtruck.com/tonneau-covers/nissan/frontier/2013/

Just depends on what you need and want to spend...

Enjoy 8-)

I'll go to the links later. Thank you.

But I have to ask - you consider 5' 4.75" height challeneged???? I would be SOOOOO happy with that number! :)

(thank you again for the links...)

This is the one I was looking at: http://www.realtruck.com/bakflip-hd-tonneau-cover/R182294P2013Y451MA.html

Do any of your Truck Ladies have experience with BAK?

So, here's a Never-Owned-A-Truck-Before question - do those after-market running boards cover both the front and back seats? Or can you go either way - front only or both?

Love the red! My favorite color, too. I especially like red because you can find it more easily if you lose your vehicle in a parking lot.

I like the idea of running boards. My E450 on my Class C has a running board that I use to climb up into the seat. Also, I bought a very expensive gel seat cushion as a booster seat, and it cut me in the back of my legs. I tossed it. Then I bought a wedge foam pillow that they sell for people who need to be propped up in bed. I cut it down to the right size and covered it, and now it works great to get me higher. Don't know why they think everyone who drives a truck or motorhome is tall.

It's a tonneau cover I'm looking for. I'm thinking about the BAK HD. Any opinions out there?
I have NO clue about running boards.

..

Check with the dealer on the running boards....we requested and got ours put on when we bought our Toyota Tundra....

I had them added as part of the "due bill", but they actually came to my house to put them on. But I had them included in the price of the SUV. Make sure they run the length of your cab, Mitch. You don't want a little step to get into the front only.

on edit: I didn't read what Lori said ...

But I misspoke about tonneau covers. I was talking about a CAP, like these:

You could get one of those fire escape ladders for up stairs rooms, just open the truck door & roll it out!
