A mini GTG with Carolb...on her way home...

What a nice day for company...before the rain starts....Carolb PMd me yesterday stating that she would like to stop by on her way home...I called her and told her to come on in....She arrived around 9:30 this morning....chatted a bit with Ernie and said Hi to all the fur-babies, then took her to Tracker Supply to pick up dog food and gave her a short tour of Olean, NY....Then we came back for snacks, soda pop, and some of the peach cobbler I make yesterday....It is the recipe posted on FB involving the use of cream cheese and crescent rolls....Turned out pretty good....

Here are our photos of the mini GTG...

Ernie took this one of us enjoying our drink and conversation...

And one of Carolb's Furbabies....Piper, Tigger, and April...(After Ernie bribed them with treats... ;)

She left here about 3:30pm, heading East on I - 86....It's about another 3 hours drive for her...but she said that if she found a good rest stop, she just may spend 1 more night bookdocking...

We had a great day visiting....can't wait to meet up with her again soon...

What a fun impromptu GTG! Love peach cobbler! The dogs look happy! Was Spinner a good doggy host?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Spinner and Tigger had fun in the 5er...running back and forth from the recliners to the bed and back.... The "girls" stayed outside....they just weren't up to "rough, ruff, housing"....they were fun to watch.... ;)

Glad you and Carolb could get together, sounds like Spinner was a good host! Wish the timing for Carol and I to GTG had worked out, I was so looking forward to seeing her again.

  Well, Lori! I just saw this post & the pix--you with your usual infectious smile! FYI to all, I had just been eating & was worried I had something in my teeth, thus hiding my mouth   Oh, that peach cobbler was EXCELLENT! I should have been happy dancing!!!! Yep, we had a great visit & can't wait to do it again! Well, the drive home was more like 5 hrs! I was totally oblivious as to where I was on my route  A BEAUTIFUL drive up to Cuba--wow, you lived in some pretty country! I really enjoyed seeing your "home turf," & many thanks for your hospitality & the trip to TSC! Too bad we didn't have "audio" of the Spin & the Tigg thundering through your rig  Yep, can't wait to gtg again :P
