Saturday morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday in IN

Postby carolb » Sat Aug 24, 2013 6:23 am

Good morning all! :D

I've been keeping up with reading, but haven't had much time to post the past few days. Lots going on with all you gals! I'm in IN now visiting a friend for the weekend--boondocking in her driveway  Unfortunately, I didn't get to gtg with BJ or Kathleen while in IL :( But been having a great time, though, & hope to catch Lori on the way home. G'grief, summer is almost over, & I'll be home just in time to can maters!

Sounds like y'all are doing well. Red, how convenient & probably "enjoyable" to spend isolation in RED  Glad you're feeling better & didn't infect DH! BJ, hey, kicked butt on the treadmill test; hope the results give you an A-okay to not worry about your heart :D Joan, you summed it up quite appropriately--we ain't the young'uns we used to be

Fun gtg's happening as we speak, some ending, & more to come! Wishing y'all a great day & safe travels always! 8-)

Saturday morning

Postby BayouLady » Sat Aug 24, 2013 6:25 am

The best part of waking up is Baileys in your cup :D

Neptune (4 runner) is in need of new tires, so my day will be starting with that. We are in for a wet weekend, at least that is what weather.com says, but they have been wrong, who knows.

Sitting outside listening to the crickets, Christian music oh and the gentle showers just started.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead.

Good Morning everyone,

How about sending some of those showers up here. We are in desperate need of rain.

Beautiful morning here, bit on the chilly side but after all, it's late August. Can't believe this is the weekend before Labor Day already. Summer has just flown.

Looks like the continuing MI GTG gang are enjoying themselves up in Mackinaw City. Cheering on the handsome lumberjack. What fun watching all that.

Peggy left yesterday morning and I really enjoyed having her here. We had a wonderful day at Mackinaw also and a trip across the bridge to boot. Now I am preparing to head north and joining up with Leslie, Liz, Carol, Sarah and Tina as they venture across the Upper Peninsula. Plans are to leave on Tuesday if all goes well with eye doc on Monday . My TT is back in the drive and just needs loading up. So will be busy today.

So am off and running here. Have a wonderful day everyone and if you are on the road, travel safe and enjoy.

Good Morning from chilly Maine. I am attending the American Folk Festival and have met some great people here. This is such a pretty state. A fellow woman RVer that I just met and I will be leaving the campground around 11 and heading to the Festival in Bangor. We almost froze last night but decided that tonight we will leave around 7 and finish up on Sunday by seeing what ever band we missed tonight.

Things are going great on my new RV life with just a few problems that someone has come to the rescue.

Hope all have a great day.

good morning ladies
gonna be a great day, the storm coming up over baja is pushing rain into our area. Would love a good rain today or tomorrow.
Routine chores today but also getting started on the purging thing. Need to start getting rid of extra stuff that I've accumulated
since I've been at sons. November is right around the corner and thoughts go to my remodel once again. Can't keep that on the
back shelf forever as I need to get back into my own space. But the wedding comes first and soon as thats history I can push
forward. :D
Ya'll have a great day, be safe, be healthy and make some memories :D

A quick Good Morning from the shore of Lake Huron

What a wonderful trip this is, well maybe except for having to cross that big bridge tomorrow
Still learning so much more about using Magic - and I'm traveling with the perfect group to teach me how to do things properly.

Nice to see that you are enjoying your new RV lifestyle, Louise. This group helped me with a few glitches when I first started, also.

And Lake Huron will always have a special part in my memories because I grew up summers on its shore.

I am up very early for me, waiting for another single lady to vacate one of the two electric walk-in sites here at Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park in Montana. It is a pretty place, open with a few big trees, in a valley between some mountains. They have a cave here to visit, but the park really has nothing to do with Lewis and Clark. A lot of things around here are named after that pair, even if they never came near here! There are only a very few electric sites and I have to vacate the one I have because someone else has it reserved today. I could only get it for one night yesterday, but want to stay another day or two, which I'll be able to do with the walk-in site. She is going to let me know just before she moves, so I can slip in.

I arrived yesterday in blowing winds and strong rains, so everything is damp here, but they need the rain too. I am headed to Glacier in a few days, but want to get some groceries in Bozeman and visit the museum there, which I will do tomorrow.

Good Morning... wow love to hear about the travelers... Sarah you will do fine on the bridge... wish someone could drive for you so you could see how really beautiful it is... you will find many interesting things to see in the UP...
Do need to know is Baileys like International Dairy creamer? I love that but only buy it on a very special occasion...
My girlfriend called from Six Lakes Mi asking me if I am coming up this summer... would love to but time will tell... she and her long term bf live on Higgins Lake... I would ride my trike down to the water and sit on their pontoon boat and read... Shadow would look at the water and anything that moved!
Well enough dreaming... want to go to my grandson Petes house and see how they are coming along... remodeling is a long tedious job...
Take care everyone

Okay. I'm confused. I thought you took your trailer back to the dealer because your Flex can't tow it. What did I miss?

Baileys Irish Cream, it's a cordial. Goes well with coffee in place of sugar and cream

Good morning,

Sunny weather for now, but suppose to be a rainy weekend.

I am waiting on the DirectTv servicemen at my brothers home. He is out of town, so I volunteered to be here to install service.

Svc tech is here.

Have a great day.

The rain hasn't gotten here yet. I see a big area of rain on the radar to the Southeast and last night they said it would be heading West. Wish we could send some to the people that need it and to the fires.

We picked up my DH's truck yesterday afternoon. When it got to the shop it started and drove fine for them. It better keep running. I need to clean out my van so my son can use it until they find out what is wrong with his truck. Guess I'll be driving the motorhome. Probably a good thing to keep it moving. If the weather is good next weekend I am going to the lake with my sister.

Reading about everyone's travels and GTG's makes me want to go. Don't have anything until a RVW rally at Biloxi the end of October and 2 weeks later a trip to Texas.

Is that Baileys Irish Cream you have in your coffee, or the Baileys flavored creamers? I love both! I even put some of the creamers in my milk for extra flavor.

We are about to get hit with high temps and high humidity here for the next 4 days. The past couple days have been wonderful with breezy, dry air. I have been relaxing (my ankle) out on the deck, enjoying the breeze and watching the boats go by, and dozing off now and then. Mmmm, perfect summer weather (for now)!

I have the day off today, so will take it easy again and just do some laundry and clean-up around here.

Sounds like lots of you are having fun on your travels and GTG's! Can't wait until I can join you all on the road one of these days! I have been reading about different places I want to explore. Am reading more about Route 66, which is at the top of my bucket list.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

It's the real stuff, tried the creamers and found they had too much sugar
