How is it that I'm the first to the coffee this morning. And I have a giant cup of Diet Dr. Pepper this morning. I have to start going to bed earlier at night because that !#^@!! alarm clock doesn't care how much sleep I've had. I think I need a retirement counter but it would just depress me.

Good Morning Maggie and Louise and those to follow....I was out on the street walking Casey by 5:30 AM my time. Can't get to the computer until after the walk, after feeding the dog and cat, making my coffee and pouring the first cup! So here I am....not much going on around here right now. I'm working on getting the cosy camper ready for the big trip to OR next month. I know my route...on the coast till after San Francisco. Yes, I'm going up HWY 1....love it, and I'll be on the inside!!!
Mayor still hasn't resigned..if anyone cares. lyn

Good morning all. Well, Tyler finally figured out to bark at the door of RED to be let in with me instead of the back door of the house. Now it is time to move back into the house. Fever is gone, soar throat gone and most off the white patches on my tonsils gone. So safe to move back in the house. After being confined for 3 days in RED I realize I need to add some color. I've never been good at interior design (spent all available $$ traveling). Would make it a bit "cheerier" to add color. Think I'll start with some bright towels instead of the chocolate brown ones that are left over from my jacuzzi in Hawaii. I like dark colors cuz they dont showmdirt or spots But then I have to make a decision and I hate those things. Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Good morning everyone...I have been up since 5:30 also..soon as it is light we go
out for Maggies walk..right now before getting on computer for much playing around
I am trying to get ready for moving sale on Sat... while it is cool...it is coming right along...cant wait till its done cause then I am going to do some serious getting rig ready to head to Florida...so with this sale and a couple of other things that need done ...I will be done working on the house for this year...have a great day and stay safe...donna

A little past noon but have a 4 hour break before going back to work.

I went into Urgent Care last night to get my ankle looked at. I worked over 8 hours yesterday so it was really swollen by then. They took ex-rays but nothing broken, just a severe sprain, so lots of ice and Advil for awhile. I have an ankle brace that helps keep it stable while working. It really doesn't hurt that much luckily.

Very muggy today (dewpoint 72). Yuck! Only 80 so far but supposed to get around 90 later so it will be really sticky outside then.

Lyn, I can't believe the mayor won't step down! What a schmuck! He must really be full of himself!

Good Afternoon... just finished lunch here... found out I really need to eat something when taking my medication... my lunch was strawberries... will take pain med 3x a day like I am suppose to at least until till things settle down
Shadow wants to go out and it is hot as the dickens... The south side of my mobile home is in direct burning sun... should have planted trees 13 years ago when I moved in... a little late now... the one my daughter planted a couple of years ago simply died!
Hopefully by the end of the week I will be on top of the world... very sad that I could not have CarolB come over... I do not get company very often... next year for sure...

Well, it isn't morning and I'm almost out of "Good Afternoon" , but had to let you all know that the staples are out, final lab said "Negative", and if all goes well at the "Blood Dr." (Hematologist) next Tuesday, I'll be cleared to hit the road on Sept. 6th with my Ernie and Spinner. Still can't drive for 2 more weeks, nor lift anything heavier than a 5 pound bag of sugar for 8 more weeks....but I'm finally feeling I did the right thing by getting this 2nd opinion and getting it all done in a reasonable time span....

So now, I can concentrate on sending Mitch more healthy thoughts.... cause I'm all better...

Okay, hope everyone's day is going well...and glad Barbie's ankle is on the mend...
