Tuesday warm up...maybe...lol

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday warm up...maybe...lol

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Tue Aug 20, 2013 6:11 am

Good morning, all...suppose to warm up into the high 70s today...maybe some sunshine....and a chance to air out the 5er and do some picking up....not too much as I don't need to "poop" out again.... ;)

Slept til 6:30am today....so at least 7 hours of good sleep....Get my "staples" out tomorrow...Yeah!!!!

Not much else going on here....will probably visit with the family here today as I need to do some laundry and Ernie wants to check out the "boondocking" options again at the farm....

Like everyone else, waiting to hear what Mitch finds out today from the surgeon....healthy thoughts and prayers on the way to TN....

Okay, got coffee and muffins ready for ya' all...

Have a great day, all... ;) :)

Good morning
Had a very difficult time giving up the night, something about the full moon - especially over water, kept drawing me back outside to watch.
Liz and I posted a few photo under the gtg thread last night.
We will be thinking of Mitch today also.
Wishing all of you a great day.

Sunrise at Ostego Lake

Good morning to all. As you can see, I got up in time to see the sunrise, and it looks like another beautiful day ahead. After breakfast I plan to take the kayak out before it gets too hot to enjoy.

Glad you are feeling better, Lori, and getting those staples out will help a lot towards that, I'm sure. My thoughts too go to Mitch today.

Wishing everyone blessings for today.

Good morning everyone, beautiful sunrise, thank you for sharing. "High 70's" ? That would be cool compared to here.

I'll have to check out the moon pics later when I get home. Off to another day in the playground, wishing everyone a blessed day and give the puppies an extra hug this morning.

Thoughts and prayers with Mitch as well.

High in the 70's? We didn't see much of that in MI - actually got up to 90 one day. Sue tried to tell me that wasn't normal either.

Don't work too hard, Lori - your body still needs time to recover.

Good morning all! :D

Wow, what a great sunrise--Thistle seems to be enjoying it too! Yes, Sarah, it was such a beautiful moon last night! Glad to hear the MI gtg is going well....Irmi, been forgetting to tell you that your bread&butter pickles are on my trip with me! Shared them with Liz & Peg, & now with sis! They're a hit with all of us!!!

Helped sis get hay (86 bales) & get it to the loft yesterday! UGH! Today is a day of rest for me. She'll be working most of the day, but I'll get to her pilates studio for a stretching session, then take the poopers to a local dog park. They've been so good about being tethered, but I know they'll love a chance to run free for a while.

And we're all waiting to hear about your dr appt Mitch....Lori, rest is good!....Soos, sorry to hear you've lost Richard for a few days. He's a special friend for you????....Kathleen, will be seeing you & Shadow soon...& all the rest of our MC peoples, always good to hear what you're doing!

Y'all have a great day & safe travels always! 8-)

Good morning all. I've been MIA for a few days. Daughter left Sat. I wasn't feeling well, so went to bed. Woke up Sun miserable with sore throat and high fever. Went to Walgreens clinic and test confirmed Strep. So I've been living in RED in the driveway in isolation. DH can not be exposed because of his infected knee replacement joint. Today The fever broke and I'm able to hold my head up. Actually sitting in a chair outside RED just enjoying the cool breeze. It's 75 and I'm lovin it. I did see the beautiful full moon from the window next to my bed last night. :P

Lots of prayers for Mitch today. Lori gets her staples out and bouncing back. Lots of members on the road. Everyone enjoy their travels and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Adding my thoughts and prayers for Mitch. Everybody have a good day. The dogs let me sleep in this morning and I'm still not quite awake. Need caffeine. Does buying an RV mean I have to greet the sunrise and be happy in the morning? Just askin'. :D

Lori I'll gladly send you some of our heat, we were so spoiled by having the last couple of weeks cooler than normal for August. Glad you have your staples out and are taking it easy. I wish I could be at your sale Donna, I'm on the lookout for a good heavy skillet with a lid and a muffin tin that isn't non-stick. Both seem illusive when you want them especially a skillet with a lid. Red so sorry you are sick hopefully they gave you an antibiotic and feel much better soon.
Great picture Liz, Thistle always looks like he is ever alert, you have a great little companion. I so wish I could be at the GTG so I could have my turn at puppy kisses from Audrey and sit outside late night moon watching with Sarah.
Carol 86 bales of hay!!! I bet your sister is really glad you came to visit. Want to come here, I need a room painted :D and I could take you to my brothers to ride, he's already got his hay in.
Sending prayers and good energy to Mitch today, I hope someone is there with her.

Tucked up safe and sound at the boy chicks in Arkansas. I'll be here probably until the end of Sept...at least in the area. I have grands up in Fayetteville and family in Tulsa that I'll be visiting while in the general area. I've had a pretty good trip this summer, saw a lot, ate a lot and did a lot. Can't complain to much or to loudly.

Quiet day here in the woods, but the cicadas are singing their hearts out and the birds are trying to outdo them. Nice change from traffic noise. DIL had to take her dad into Ft. Smith this morning for a pace maker. He has to spend the nite there and the girls are spending the day at the hospital with him. I put myself on dinner duty. Not sure if they are coming home for dinner or eating there, but I'll cook plenty and we may have to eat it again tomorrow. Country style pork ribs, macaroni salad and a zuchinni casserole thingy I saw on FB that looked good. Son is on his 2 week off shift so he gets the experimental new recipe.

Mitch is also in my thoughts today....and Lori you're still there as you travel the road to recovery. I'm sure it'll go faster when you get those staples out!

Nikki....no, you do not have to be up with the sun and cheerful but if you're one of those that's crabby before you have your coffee, please be so kind as to stay in your own camp until the caffeine kicks in!   Thank goodness those that are up with the sun do so quietly so as not to wake those of us that don't do sunrise. :D

Have a great day everyone!

Whew! What a relief! Mandatory sunrise coulda been a deal breaker. I'm more than glad to stay to myself until I have coffee in hand.

Coffee? Check!
Big butt dog? Check!
Thrashing chiweenie dog? Check!

OK, let's go visit Sharon.

I feel a lot better today after sleeping a good 10 hours! Sounds like some of you slept in, too. Also, good news in that my urine is clear this morning and I got a call from the local clinic saying most of my blood work came in negative, but that I need to stop by and leave a larger urine sample. They have only a nurse practitioner, but she sends everything to the hospital in Bozeman.

When I get these scares, I start imagining the worst, like having to go to the hospital and worrying about what to do with my motorhome and stuff while I am there, etc. I even checked to see how far it was to my son's house in Napa. Then when it is over, I go back to my normal life, but I don't like having these scares.

I made my reservations for February at three Phoenix area regional parks: a week each in McDowell Mountain, Usery Mountain, and Lake Pleasant. I have been to the last two before, but really like them because of the beautiful scenery and good sites with water and electric. Lots of places to walk in all. I even got the same spot in lake Pleasant, high on the hill overlooking the lake! (And right next to the cell tower.)

So relaxing and work today. Going to try to use this week to catch up.

Hi Judy, I have a daughter that lives in Healdsburg, works in Santa Rosa.
Ask that nurse practitioner about cranberry juice when the blood shows up in the urine. I've heard that works great on clearing urine.
Phoenix in February??? What about setting up a gtg somewhere during the month? Ava? What do you think? Anyone else in the area?
