Tucked up safe and sound at the boy chicks in Arkansas. I'll be here probably until the end of Sept...at least in the area. I have grands up in Fayetteville and family in Tulsa that I'll be visiting while in the general area. I've had a pretty good trip this summer, saw a lot, ate a lot and did a lot. Can't complain to much or to loudly.
Quiet day here in the woods, but the cicadas are singing their hearts out and the birds are trying to outdo them. Nice change from traffic noise. DIL had to take her dad into Ft. Smith this morning for a pace maker. He has to spend the nite there and the girls are spending the day at the hospital with him. I put myself on dinner duty. Not sure if they are coming home for dinner or eating there, but I'll cook plenty and we may have to eat it again tomorrow. Country style pork ribs, macaroni salad and a zuchinni casserole thingy I saw on FB that looked good. Son is on his 2 week off shift so he gets the experimental new recipe.
Mitch is also in my thoughts today....and Lori you're still there as you travel the road to recovery. I'm sure it'll go faster when you get those staples out!
Nikki....no, you do not have to be up with the sun and cheerful but if you're one of those that's crabby before you have your coffee, please be so kind as to stay in your own camp until the caffeine kicks in!
Thank goodness those that are up with the sun do so quietly so as not to wake those of us that don't do sunrise.
Have a great day everyone!
