Welcome Kay, I've got a fifth wheel with no truck so I can't go anywhere either, and I still work too but counting the years to retirement, anytime after 6 more years :D
So glad you found us, this is a great sisterhood.

Hi and Welcome, Kay! So glad you found us. Sounds like you've got a great weekend vacation home getting set up for you. What fun.

Now, I heard KY got hit hard by the storm that went through last night/today - looks like you're one of the lucky ones with power.

Please, read around the forum and jump right in anywhere you wish. Good to meet you here, and hope to meet you down the road some day.

Welcome Kay,

It's nice to have you join us. It sounds like you have the perfect set up with your new travel trailer being set up so close to home.

I see you have a frog. We found a frog in the parking lot of a motel in Albuquerque. It was only the size of my thumb nail when we found it. I didn't think it would live through that day, but it actually lived over 2 years and grew to be about the size of a quarter. We had to pick up tiny live crickets from the pet store every other day to feed it.

I have to say it was definitely a high maintenance animal. When we would go out of town, we would have to take it with us or beg a family member to come over every other day to feed it the crickets.

I hope yours is easier to take care of and that you enjoy it as well as your other pets,

Welcome to our great group of gals. I'm up in Indiana where we had 10-12" of snow. No power outages for me but there were some around. Your RV plans sound terrific! Cheryl

Welcome, Kay!!! So glad to see you here.....We spent last September in the Louisville area (Taylorsville) with rving friends....had a great time doing the bourbon tours and the Lincoln stuff.....they are now here (Corpus Christi, TX), being very happy that they are not at home with all the weather stuff...... Your new TT sounds great.....our 1st TT was stored at the RV dealer, too, as we were both working and had no place to store it either.....but it also had some issues to correct before we would take delivery, so it all worked out in the end....anyway, take a look around and jump in at anytime.....We're a wild and crazy bunch, at times, but you'll find we're also a friendly, compassionate crew, too....Hope to see you at the "Campfire" soon.... ;)

Welcome Kay!

I'm glad you have joined us, pull up a chair around our campfire and get acquainted. We're a friendly, although slightly irreverant group of independent women.... I'm happy you are aboard!

Glad to have you join us, Kay. I know you're anxious to get that TT out of storage and try her out. Post pictures when you can, and meanwhile enjoy the various posts. Jump right in to any discussion that interests you.

Bandit, my cat would LOVE to have a frog...he does so enjoy the lizards on the pool deck, but I don't think the frog would be too happy. :o

Hi Kay,
I just took your new post and moved it to your original thread here - since it was really a reply. Hope you don't mind :)

Look forward to seeing your pics - where yes, a new thread would be good - in the appropriate rooms.

Hi, Kay, and welcome to the family! I can't wait to see pictures of your travelers, including you and the frog! I once had a black spotted salamander for a few years, until I let her go, so I know a bit about amphibians!

I have a Keystone Hideout travel trailer, and am anxious to see your model----I guess you might have posted pictures by now, so I will go look for them.

Hope to see a lot of you, and happy travels!

Hi Kay, and yes welcome to the forum family. We seem to be growing quickly, just like a large family-and that's how we behave :D talkative, nosy, immensely interesting (at least we think so  ) and full of information and advice-asked for and not-. Looking forward to your posts and pics. carold
