((((Hugs))))) Okay, you have to stay positive. First there isn't a positive diagnosis! Doctors have been known to be wrong. Find someone to go with you and take notes for you. Sometimes it's better if that someone is a friend but not your closest friend because a best friend won't be able to remain as objective. Both my mother and sister are breast cancer survivors and both of them had completely different treatments. All of us are here for you.

Mitch prayers are being sent for positive results. Had a scare a few years ago but all turned out well so with all of us behind you I know it will come right in the end.

I am rather new to Women RV, but I have gotten a sense of who people are by reading through the posts. Mitch, I've loved your sense of humor, and I wish you peace and the best possible outcome of your tests.

I don't mean to sound flip, but I've been thinking about breast reduction for YEARS. These big girls were great in my 20s and 30s...not so much now. More just a sagging pain, literally. This is just a helluva way to get a breast reduction...

My sister had reconstruction at the time of her double mastectomy with the TRAM procedure, where they use the muscles from your abdomen to do the reconstruction. She said she knew then all those stomach crunches were good for something - they gave her perky boobs!

So sorry to read this. I was diagnosed Friday the 13th, September 1996. Because I was misdiagnosed for two years, it spread to two lymph nodes. I was considered stage 2. Had lots of chemo, then radiation. Only regret is that I wish i had opted for two mastectomies and reconstruction instead of a lumpectomy. I now have two different size boobs. Would prefer having two the same size and perky!

You will do fine. It wasn't near as bad as I expected but it still wasn't a walk in the park. Focus on the end of treatment and plan to give yourself a gift when it's all over. (I went on a cruise.). You have lots of online support on this forum and you are loved by many. Hang in there!
