Galveston, TX Mini GTG

We are home and Nancy(Birdie) and I drove down to Galveston to gtg with vacationing Vickie (yakin). We took the ferry over to Bolivar Penninsula and walked on the beach, watched birds and explored in general. Found a great little place to eat; Tiki Bar and Grill. We shared a seafood platter and a deep fried avacado with shrimp, scallops and fish in a delicious white sauce. What a great day by the gulf :P

Looks so good - both the smiling faces and the food joint.

Thanks to Chris and Nancy for coming down to meet up with me! Haven't seen them since last fall.
First time for me to be on that ferry and see Bolivar Peninsula, and we had a great time!

Deep fried avacado? I'd have to think about that one! Looks like you had a great time and good food!
