TODAY IS WED....

Postby grammynmaggie » Wed Aug 07, 2013 7:48 am

Good morning everyone...I have been missing in actions for a few days...busy with my
sale, flea market, and what ever else ....had a great yard sale and flea weekend..they got
my side walk done..now all they have to do is hook me up to the new system and fix driveway
it seems like I am the only one left to hook up...not sure why...going for mammogram (I forgot on Monday)...today... yard still needs mowed...and need to organize for next sale...and fit a camping trip in there some time..soon as son can get a couple days off together...speaking of together looks like bunches of GTg's going on with a ton of fun...I am looking forward to leaving for florida in about 6 weeks or so...want to get in on some GTG's...any way got to get to work doing something ... I did make a couple blog post...about finish sidewalk and yard sale....have a great day and stay safe...donna ;)

Yep, it's Weds. and will be having a S--tty day.....literally....  Have to do that "intestinal cleaning" thing in prep for surgery tomorrow....so I've elected to stay in the pjs for the day.....and to add salt to the wound....all clear liquid diet to boot....  Yuck!!!!!

But do have more good news in the health department.....The kidney dr. called yesterday stating that she believes that the kidneys do not have cysts...she thinks I have "mis-shaped" kidneys.....as there is no fluid in the CT pictures....so no surgery on them at this point.....she is sending me a script to have another CT scan to be done "on the road" somewhere in a couple of months....just to keep an eye on things....for now... So that's 2 issues down and 1 to go which will be taken care of tomorrow...Ernie is going to call Tina (Birdbybird) with the updates after surgery and she's going to let you all know how things went....(Thanks, again, Tina ;) :D )

So, Mitch, looks like if all goes well, we'll be visiting "The Blue Marlin Resort" sometime in mid-Sept.... ;)

Rain is in the forecast for the day, but that's okay cause I'll not be leaving the 5er until tomorrow morning....

Thanks for all your prayers and healthy thoughts....and will be back here real soon...

Have a great day, all....

Good Morning and yes finally I can say it is a good morning... the cloud has been lifted... I had my evaluation yesterday and I do qualify for assistance in cleaning, or what ever I need and meals as well as other things...

I am staying in my home and also the best news Shadow is coming home on Sat... I will keep my MH and then sell it in a few years...

Sometimes our children feel they should order our lives... well they do need to remember we changed their diapers!

Lori this is your yuck day for sure... but it will soon be in your past... oh yes if you have not been to the Blue Marlin before you are in for a treat... Mitch is a great hostess... someday I want to go back!

Donna glad the sale went well... the GTGs are the best... people of like mind...

I thank you all for your prayers and caring... this lady needs to start eating better again... so oatmeal and blueberries it is this morning...

The water in the park has been shut off this morning for city repairs... ugh hope we do not have a boil order when they turn it back on...

Take care everyone and you gals at the Ruckus have fun... ha ha ha as if I had to say that!

Good morning everyone!

Donna, it won't be long and you'll be heading south! You've really been busy!

Lori, great news on the kidney! Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow.

Kathleen, I am tickled pink for you! It sounds like things are finally falling into place for you.

I'm enjoying reading about the GTG's and am looking forward to more pictures.

I'll be leaving this afternoon to spend the rest of the day, tonight and all day tomorrow with my parents. My oldest sister is in the hospital in the same town, so hopefully I'll have a chance to go see her. She's been hospitalized for over a week and has had two surgeries as a result of Lupus. The good news is that Steve has reconnected with a cousin and an aunt by phone following an ugly seperation from his immediate family and we see a reunion in the not too distant future.

Yippee, great news Lori and Kathleen.

Lori, I'll be waiting impatiently for the 3rd piece of good news. Hang in there gf.

Kathleen, I can imagine your happiness and can't wait for you to be reunited with Shadow.

And now it's off to work for me.

Sounds as if it is in deed a wonderful GOOD MORNING for many!

So happy for you Kathleen, Irmi, and Lori. Kathleen, I still hope to get up to your place sometime this year. However for now I've made the insane decision to try the MI trip. If nothing else goes wrong, will be leaving here Sunday. Will meet up with CArol along the way so lucky enough to have a travel companion part of the way. Looking forward to seeing everyone and some new places along the way.

Much to do so must get going.

Hi, all! Sounds like we have had a bunch of good medical news lately. It is so nice to have such good news after a scare.

I'm sitting around working today since I have decent, but slow, internet access through Verizon. I cancelled one campground and was going to get up very early and do a walk-in at another I like better when I leave here in a few days, but I am wondering if I could change my reservations at Coulter Bay in the Tetons so I can cut down on driving. Will see.

It is really a struggle this semester to get everything done on time because I am teaching one single and one double class instead of just a double single class. (They put twice as many students in a double class, and I get paid for two classes.) My dept chair had to let someone go and so asked me to do this, and I DID agree. I like $$$, but it is a lot of work, so I am losing out on my relaxation and sightseeing time. At least I don't have TV here to distract me.

Weather has been excellent. Highs in mid-70s and lows in mid-30s! I like the cold nights, even if I do have to run my furnaces just a bit.
