Morning all,

Partly cloudy this morning. Don't know how long it will last. Still in the cool weather pattern that triggers off lake effect showers over the course of the day. I know some of you have said it's not normal for this time to year to be this cool, but truth be told, we experience this just about every summer for a week or two and then it warms back up to summer again. Kind of a fall weather patterin in the summer so to speak. Was about 46 when I got up. House was chilly to say the least. Donna, you wish for cooler weather, well I think you will get your wish, cause what comes through here, winds up your way eventually and this is a slow moving system.

Gee, seems like a litany of MH repairs going on of late Murphy or gremlins at work again? Martha, hope you get yours all straightened out and be able to get back on the road again. Dell and Chris are both waiting for parts. Loved your description of the morning happenings at the repair facility yesterday Chris. I could just picture it.

I spent yesterday morning picking up some stuff I need for the TT and then the afternoon, putting down non skid shelf liner and putting stuff away in the cupboards, drawers etc. Everything inside is in for the most part and now have to wrap up the loose ends. Need to start working on the pass through storage area. Course there's the decorating to be done and other little things to do, so will be a work in progress for awhile. Also discovered that I no longer have any bowls. Forgot that I brought some of them in the house when I sold the last TT and they are now a part of my kitchen dishes. Also sold off the plastic ones I had in a garage sale, cause I want something different. So today am going to Houghton Lake about 50 miles south, to Camping World, KMart and the WalMart down there to browse and pick up a few things including bowls. Also changed plans in one coupboards in reagards to installing another shelf. But that's the name of the game anyway, change, change, change

Am also watching campground reservations at my one favorite park and see there are sites open for next week, so am going to keep an eye on it for a bit here and might just make reservations for Monday through to Thursday next week, for the first trip out with this new TT. Had thought about going this coming weekend, but only one site open and if I wait till next week, it will give me more time to "outfit" and organize.

There have been some remarkers made about the interiors of our coaches being so brown and all that and so plain. I think it may be cause brown is a neutral color per say and anything goes. That's where the ingenuity and decorating come into play. We are very good at that. Sometimes even if you have a coach that has interior patterns on the dinette cushions, sofa etc. we don't like then either. So........ I am amazed at the creativity some of you have employed in your rigs. Very homey. I'm about ready ot employ a paint brush in mine

Donna, I see you and I were posting at the same time, and since you got yours in first, I moved me over here :)

This is not getting me on the road here, so guess I had better git. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good Morning, I am sitting at a winery in Sandusky, OH,having my coffee. I just love Harvest Host and the ability to spend the night at farms, wineries, etc., around the country. The wifi is very good here in the parking lot. People keep asking me if I am Afraid to stay at these types of places by myself...well I spent 26 years going in and out of peoples homes and basements as a claim adjuster by myself. I rely on my instincts. I felt a tiny bit uncomfortable, I would leave even if it was the middle of the nght. My plans is to leave here around 9:30 and make it to Ovid, NY, for two nights so that I can do a little sightseeing along the Cayuga Wine Trail. Miss Kitty would probably like the rest (RV) and I will use R. T. (tow car). If you were not aware, I named the RV after my mom and the tow car after dad.

I am on my way to the Ruckus in Lake Placid but taking it nice and easy. I am happy I brought a couple sweatshirts because it is nippy in the mornings now.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning, It is cloudy and cool here this morning. We have been having absolutely wonderful weather for about a week, supposed to start raining today but hey it's still cool so that is fine with me.
Louise I looked up Harvest Hosts, sounds like a good idea. There is a similar one at this link called Boondockers Welcome http://www.boondockerswelcome.com/membership-products although I notice some do provide some hookups. If I traveled more I think I would join. Have a good time on your way to the Ruckus.
Sue, sounds like you are busy packing/remodeling your new rig, I usually just fling things in and forget where they are.
Donna wish I could come to your sale! I need to be getting stuff on eBay again. I do it for awhile then just quit, it's hard to see thing ssell for less than I bought them for but the market has really changed. Also eBay is all about the buyer now and the seller is not treated very well. Over the years it has moved to being major businesses selling and away from the more personal venue it used to be.
I need to get moving, promised my cousin I would do Reiki for her before her knee surgery tomorrow.
Safe travels.

Good morning all :D

Ah, yes, cooler weather, so much like fall! Bro & I may go sailing today--if we get car things done. Just got back from taking mine to dealer (ac under warrantee) & bro getting tires. Then need to be off the lake to get to puppy school by 5:30....in the meantime, I'm popping in to see what y'all are doing 8-) & sounds like all is well in "MC Land"...

I'm having visions of upgrading to a class B+/C & full-timing! :o Would hate to give up my little RT though...will see how it works spending 6 mo in it come Nov. I do like my gardening, but that's something I can do when I'm "old"

Bro just called & we're off to sail away! Y'all have a great day & be safe wherever you are :P

good morning ladies
took a little drive early this morning with Maggie. Stopped by work to preview the new routes as I do my pick tomorrow. Think I have
decided on a wheelchair bus this year, but that could change. Other than that, I'm just hanging out today doing whatever :D
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.
