Pass Through Storage tricks

This new TT I am picking up on Friday has pass through storage in the front of the thing. Not big as far as door opeings are concerned but a nice long storage space. Was wondering how those of you who have that kind of space in your TT's or MH's, put your stuff in them and keep it from sliding or moving around while you are on the road, but still accessible for you to get it out when needed. I'm kind of toying around with plastic storage bins, not the high ones, but long ones, maybe even with wheels on one end. And then was thinking that sinc Hartwick Pines State Park is having "Black Iron Days" the end of next month where there will be blacksmiths doing their trade, I could get a long handled rod with a hook on the end to snag the ones in the middle and pull them out.

But wanted to hear some of the tricks others have tried or learned.

I have the same type of storage in my little TT... maybe use your awning hook? Or put those waffle rug slip things to hold things in place? what kind of TT are you getting? cant wait to see pics..!!! what are you pulling it with? so many questions!! LOL

http://www.amazon.com/5th-Wheel-Pull-Hook-Blue/dp/B002KB84K0 This might do the trick. Trucks use them to pull the 5th wheel release. Use to be around $10 at the truck stop. They come in a couple of different styles.

My pass through I use totes and since things like lawn chairs go about half way if I have a bunch for a party I feed some in from each side so they touch in the middle. I can then put lighter stuff ontop if I need to. Basically the stuff I use most is on the outside and the stuff I use least towards the middle.

I use clear plastic, stackable totes that I got from Walmart. They weren't too expensive & they stack together very well. Since they're clear, it's easy to see what's in them.

I use my awning rod, works great as it
has a bit of hook to the end of it.
