GOOD MORNING ALL!
Saranac Lake (and Vermontville, where I am) is once again the coldest spot in the nation at 33 degrees this morning! I am very glad I brought in my southern tropical-like plant that Mandy got me! The heater ran most of the night, too.
Today I am staying here with Orion while his Mommy goes back to her university for some meetings and to her house back there to pick up some stuff. Tonight I would like to head over the mountain to the Jay Green for some free music, but the weather will determine if Orion and I go or not----or if his mother is back yet or not.
We went to the dump yesterday with 22 dollars worth of refuse, and it looks much better around here this morning. However, there is still a bunch of toxic stuff (old gas, old oil, old paint, paint thinner, etc. that has to be dealt with, plus at least another two truckloads of cans and bottles to recycle. I also picked another quart of blueberries last evening before the sun set. I went to see the used (but in new condition) camper trailer that is for sale nearby, and decided I like mine better. Today I am going to try for a new configuration of the dinette area to see if I can make more room in here and still have a table to sit at. Tomorrow Richard is arriving, so I will have some company for a while.
Hope all is well with you all. Anita, I sure hope your dentist can fix you up with not much of a problem....dentists are my least favorite doctor-like persons! I was so thankful that mine was able to fix my front tooth the other day by replacing a filling that fell out with no drilling whatsoever----just a bit of etching to make the new filling stay in! Of course, I have very few teeth in the back any more anyway, so cleaning and flossing is a piece of cake and I take good care of what I have left.
Happy trails to all-----time to go inside and see what the Orion beast is up to!
