Congratulations Sue you did it!! Maybe the upcoming GTG was just what you needed to push you over the decision line.
Good new on your thyroid test Lori.
Glad your kayak leak is fixed Liz maybe I can give it another try.
The dogs are wound up over something and howling in harmony. There is a deer with twins that lives in the backyard at the house across the street and it strolls the neighborhood during the day. It is totally unafraid and chomps on everyone's flowers until someone goes out and actually chases it. Of course it drives the dogs crazy so I never know whether it is actually someone here or the deer in the yard. One of these days the kidnapper will walk in and I'll be surprised.
Have a good day and safe travels to those on the road. Hopefully Red is having a better start to her day than yesterday!!

Just missed morning.

My house guest of nearly two weeks left; house is very quite except for the thunder outside.

Serious rainfall here this morning - 3 inches so far with another 2 to 3 inches forecast for the afternoon. I'm watching the river gauge closely; Eddie on vacation this week and I have keys to Magic. Thunder has sent poor Nicky into deep hiding. Of course his calming meds and thunder shirt are in the RV.
Hopefully RED is in one of the bays getting work today as it appears this rain extends all the way over to Red Bay.

Congratulations Sue. Hope I get to see your new TT in person next month.

My 50th wedding anniversary was this past Saturday. Rick has been gone so long that I have learned to try to remember the good times on special occasions but this one was really difficult for some reason.

Sending positive vibs to all.

Congrats Sue!!! Was that #5000 lbs? #500 seems REALLY lightweight! :? Can't wait to see pics!

Sounds like I have the best weather here! Sunny, breezy, 73, no humidity... perfect! And is supposed to be this way all thru next weekend! Last night was perfect for golf too, altho that didn't help my scores any  . We already had our turn with the long heavy rains. The lake is still extremely high yet from the 5" rainfall we had two weeks ago. Some docks are underwater yet.

Picked up my dad this morning and brought him to his house to pick up a few things he wanted. He will stay at the nursing home yet for another couple weeks I think. We are not happy about him going home again but he knows he has one more chance to "take care of himself", or he will be forced to go to a nursing home permanently. We are pretty positive he won't make it too long at home before ending up in the hospital again, only because he is determined to not follow directions about eating and drinking with the feeding tube.

I need to get going on cleaning and doing laundry around here but it is hard to get motivated when it is so nice outside!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
