Good Morning Donna and all those who will be sure to follow,

Beautiful morning here in northern Michigan. The cool front came through late yesterday and wiped out the heat wave. Nice comfty 50 some degrees this morning. Had some rain yesterday morning and a brief shower that barely wet the ground in the evening. Had been under a Severe Storm Watch till 10 last night, but nothing happened what so ever. Now off to a week of pleasant cool weather. One has so much more energy when it's nice and cool. And Sassy will be much more comfortable as well.

Donna, you jello plans sound good. I will have to read your blog to see what you got for the RV. No yard or garage sales for me here as far as selling stuff is concerned. I'm pared down to the minimum I need right now, so won't sell anything till I get house put on market eventually.

My plans for today are to ge to Hartwick Pines State Park to their Wood Shaving Days. Sawmill will be in operation, old time music, wood carvers, wood burning demostrations, blacksmiths, old time land survey demonstration etc. Should be fun I think.

So am going to head on out here. Few things to do before I leave. Hope you all have a great day. Know some of you are still in the heat, cool air is coming, hang in there. And some are still in rain. Not much I can say there. Adios.

Good morning everyone, I've been MIA for most of the week. We arrived at the Allegro Tiffin Service Campground in Red Bay, AL on Tuesday. They have 95 FHU sites and we got the last one!! (Sites are free if you coach is less than a year, $10 if you're here for warranty work & $20 for any other service work.) They bought an old airport and turned it into a service center and campground. The old runways serve as the camp sites. Big hangar buildings the service center. Its been a whirlwind ever since. I thought that we would be going site seeing while they worked on our coach during the day. But so far, that's not the case. We get up early to move RED to the assigned service bay. Have to be there by 7am with all the hookups put away. Can't leave sewer hoses at your site. Then hook up to power and open the slides in side the work bay. Techs come and go all day. Then 4 pm reverse. Pull all in, disconnect, move back to your spot and hook up again. First day pretty much look at the list and go through everything with you, order parts, etc. I am so impressed. Anything we want, they'll do. The tech handed me a roll of green masking tape and told me to put a piece on any thing that bothers me or I want fixed. Dings in the refrigerator door. Even though we did it. New door. Dings on the walls or cabinet doors? They'll fix or replace. Friday, they started the installation of the fireplace. Also replaced a valve fitting for the switch that allows you to fill your freshwater tank from the city water connection. There had been a batch where the o ring didn't work and filled the water tank on its own - called the phantom water tank filler. They also put in a new water pump because I said the current one made a "clackitty" sound. Being available for the techs to ask questions is important. If someone from the woodworking shop shows up to ask you something, if you're not their, they head off to other matters. So one of us needs to be with the coach at all times. Of course no wifi inside a big metal building. They have a really nice pet friendly lounge area inside the big metal building. They really go out of their way to make things as comfortable as possible while going through the service experience. Average stay here is about 2 weeks. If anyone is in the area and would like to stop by, I'll buy lunch. The food here is really good!!

So, we get the weekends to do as we wish. Many of the "campers" leave Camp Red Bay, as they call it, and head to nearby campground in MS and TN to take a break. We are going to drive down to Tupelo today and see the sights. Hope everyone has a great day and stay safe. Aloha y'all

Our temps are to be cooler today....about 78F.....

Good Morning All, Red, that Red Bay Service area sounds very interesting...glad things are working out for you getting all the "nitty gritties" taken care of. Lori, I think its neat you have 2 sisters in the area. Keep posting on your health issues. House work, ick, today I'm going to play. Or at least go walking to get some pictures of the people in costumes for Comic-Con going on around here.
I believed I mentioned that right across the street is PlayBoy2-Kick Ass going in. It seems there will be lots of stunt people doing tricks on all the equipment going up. One of our residents, on the 14th floor, got drunk, climbed over her balcony and threatened to jump!!!( I don't know her as I only know the residents with dogs) The stunt men across the street saw her, got over here quick as a wink, got our security to get them into her condo, then grabbed her pulling her to safety!!!!! It happened so fast, and was over so quickly, I was never aware until I saw it on the news last night!!!
I love living downtown!
Now our Mayor situation is making all the National News.. and the comedy hour, what an embarrassment.

Good Morning Ladies, Lots of fun going on here, Maggie is so tickled !!!! We just got back from the dump, she loved that ride. Now, I'll do a few things in the house and then on to mowing the yard. Maggie, not to happy about that, she has to stay inside. I'm hoping it will dry a wee bit more at least. Weather reporter last night said if we wanted to mow, do it today or forget about it until way into next week.

I've been boxing things up to take over to my friends in Cleveland. She wants to have a yard sale if the rain will stop long enough. So I'm gathering things together for what I think might sell in her area. We''ll have a nice visit too. Also sorting out what to take to a thrift store over here, "Pay it Forward" name of the place. It interest me, so will donate lots there. I wish the girl who wants my living room furniture could get her people here to pick it up, before this evening. I have the RV parked down by the cabin and now would be a good time for them to come in with a trailer and pick it up.

Donna, I think you are accomplishing more then I am, but reading your blog keeps me motivated, which I need badly  :( Thank You !!!!

Can't set here to long, I'll not get anything done, I hope to today. Red, the place for repairs sounds ideal. Almost like ours over in Marion, NC. That's a neat place too, only their fees for camping there are much higher. Getting warrenty work done and I cringed at the camping fee on their grounds. Nice place though !!

Oh Sue, sounds like you're going to have a fun day, I wanna gooooooo !!!!!!

Ava, I loved your dress, looks prefect on you. You're not supposed to look prettier then the bride remember ???!!!! Hope you have a lovely time, you sure will look fantastic for the occasion.

Didn't I say I had to get off of here??? Have a great day everyone, but please stay safe !!!

I had to help my DH jump start his truck so he could go get it inspected. He had left the lights on. The inspection sticker only expired in May. It seems like that's one of my jobs that I didn't do. While he was gone and not under foot I got out the carpet cleaner and shampooed the carpet around the front door that gets so dirty. I hate to drag that thing out and get it ready to use. While it was out I decided to try it on the kitchen floor. I don't know if you are suppose to use it on bare floor but it worked pretty darn good. Sucked up all the water and it dried fast.

Started some lima beans in the slow cooker. I usually put a whole pound of beans and end up having to freeze or throw some away. I only put a half pound but it looked like such a small amount that I had to fight the urge to put it all in. Since the beans have swelled up the slow cooker is half full.

Our tv station has started showing a chart with the days you should mow. They call it "Mowdar".

I never get moving early enough to go to garage sales. Which is probably a good thing. I need to have one, not go to any. One of my bosses liked to go to them. She and several other ladies would map out the sales they wanted to attend and head out very early. I would think about going with them but never did. I'm wasn't getting up at 5:00 am on Saturday to go to a garage sale. I use to stop at flea markets for my sister but she has too much junk now so I won't stop anymore.

Better get moving. I think my step daughter is coming to see her dad. Hope he doesn't disappear before she gets here. He has a way of doing that if company is coming.

Had rain again last night here in South Dakota. We have had rain about every other day here, so things are amazingly green.

I went for a jeep tour yesterday and saw a herd of at least 300-400 buffalo, some of which walked right past the vehicles. Got some great photos and a fantastic video but can't get it loaded anywhere because my connection is so slow.

Today I am going to do work. Nice to have a series of relaxing days.

It's much cooler and drier today here in the palm of the mitten, and I'm not sick today. Hurrah! I see a work session on Ivy later today. I really want to get the rest of that icky carpet out of there.

Sue! Photos! You took your camera, right? Hartwick Pines is wonderful. Red, that service center sounds amazing. It makes me wish I was in that area; I'd love a tour. Ava, the dress is beautiful -- you look just lovely in it.

Happy Saturday, everyone.

GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL!

I am in charge of Orion today while Mandy is in another golf tournament and birthday lunch for one of her friends. He is back to his good old rambunctious self, which I am very happy to see.

We had wild cold front come through here last evening which shredded my two nice screen tent/rooms out by my trailer. The wind was whipping, the rain was pounding down, and many people lost power as well as had trees come down on their houses and cars all around us. I guess I should feel lucky to lose only two tents. I will surprised if I don't have more of them down cellar that I can set up for the Ruckus in a couple of weeks. I need to go to the GTG site and write a few words and see who might be coming!

Sun is trying to peek out of the clouds now, and, if it stays nice, I plan to go over the shoulder of Whiteface Mountain and down to the town of Jay for the free music concert tonight. It will be Celtic, Appalachian, and traditional music this evening. Orion just fell asleep on the carpet, so I guess I will make me some lunch.

Happy trails to all out there!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
