I thought I'd post a couple of pics of Lake Tahoe while I'm here. The beach is right across the street from the campground.

Those are beautiful! I have Lake Tahoe on my bucket list. I would imagine the water stays pretty cold tho even in the summer being that the lake is so deep.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

What a gorgeous lake.
I guess I would have figured a LOT more crowded in mid-July!

That's on my list to see. Gorgeous colors and I especially love your second one.

I took the pic fairly early in the day. I went back in the afternoon with my pups and there were quite a few people. They rent kayaks, SUPs, paddle boats, etc.

Yes, the water is quite cool because of the depth and being fed by snow melt. But there were lots of people swimming in the afternoon.

Did you post the name of the camp ground? Tahoe is so beautiful. Lucky you!

Nikki, it's called Campground by the Lake. It's next to the road going around the lake so there is a little road noise, but it has never bothered me (and I'm an extremely light sleeper). And after my experience at Grand Canyon where I had to put my back duals on one side on 4 blocks, it was so nice to back in here and be level. They do a good job keeping it up. No complaints.
