I got her from South Texas Angel Paws Rescue. They were set up outside my local HEB yesterday. I've been on the lookout for a pal for Olive for about a year.Yesterday I saw Scarlett, fell in love, and that was that. We just got home from our first vet visit, so she's good to go. Boosters in three weeks. She did have tape worms, but we took care of that. She and Olive are BFFs; Olive even changed her sleeping spot to be near Scarlett last night. We have to work on housebreaking. I think she'll catch on fast, but dachshunds are notorious for being hard to housebreak. Olive was well trained when I got her. Not this one. I do have to pet both at the same time.
I love my little family. Thank you to everyone for all the kind responses.
