Meet Miss Scarlett

I adopted her this morning. Olive and I both love her already. She's part dachshund/chihuaha and just as sweet as she can be. Olive has beds all over the house. Scarlett has chosen one that Olive doesn't use. I guess she's made herself at home.

I've learned that when she's relaxed her ears flop forward. Then she's really cute. With ears up and those buggy green eyes, she looks like Yoda. She and Olive are quite the pair. I've also learned that when she has a treat under the table, Olive had better steer clear. I think in time Scarlett will be Alpha.

She's adorable. But I have to say - in Peaches' case she doesn't want another dog. She wants me all to herself.
