Another tip is NOT to put your first aid kit in a bottom drawer which cannot be accessed with your slides in. I cut my thumb last fall while making a sandwich in a scenic pullover. I could not get to my first aid kit and was having problems stopping the bleeding. Finally managed to find two old bandaids in my purse, all the while keeping pressure on my thumb. I put them on tightly to stop the bleeding, and it worked.

I was very close to going outside and trying to get help from someone in the parking lot.

Now, my first aid kit is clearly marked and in the cupboard nearest my entrance door!!

Judy, that's really a thoughtful and good tip.
So slide or no slide, keep your FIrst Aid Kit easily reachable.

Hmmmm - that's the cabinet where I keep the wine and booze. Different type of first aid kit, right?

The BEST kind of First Aid. I'd be rearranging cabinets pretty quickly...

Not necessarily! I would keep all of the above together in an easily get-toable spot!

Since you appear to be a bit of a klutz, I would suggest you wear a backpack and keep your first aid kit on your body at all times. ;)
