More trouble!!

Well Georgia is set up at Camping World in Chattanooga but I can't bring her home because they say I need 4 inches of top soil removed from my side yard and have 2 loads of rocks put down. That will only cost 1600-1800 dollars and that's after my house flooded twice in the past week from all the rain. I'm stressed beyond my MAX level. I just want to get in Georgia and drive off into the sunset.
Keep me sane girls!

what a bummer, if I was nearby I'd come with a wheelbarrow and shovel and scrape out all that dirt.
Is this some sort of city ordinance?

Hate to complicate things further, but for the $$, you might be able to sell that top soil. That stuff's valuable, isn't it? (What do I know; I'm an apartment dweller.) I should think at least for the labor someone would dig it up and keep it and then you'd only have to pay for the rock.

Am I in left field?

That sounds like a great idea, I'm sure a neighbor could use it. I'm having a slab put down, I told them I wanted my dirt, with armadillos tearing up my yard every winter, I'm always buying the cheap topsoil to level the holes.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hopefully, removing the soil and adding rocks will improve and prevent flooding from happenig again.

My brother is headed this direction from Missouri today and should be here by 4 PM. He has done all this so he'll bail me out I hope. They say they need to take the top soil out so the grass doesn't come through. I would love to sell it but I just want the RV to come home so I can pack it and go go go.
