Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning ~ Happy Saturday to ya!

The cement people are coming this morning to lay the pad for my travel trailer YEAH !!!!!!! Getting one step closer. Will be researching places while they are doing this so if anyone knows places where the BIG DOGS are welcome, please share. I know sometimes websites are not always up-to-date on their restrictions.

As for coffee, it's only Community In-between blend in my cup . . . .

Yesterday was the kidney doctor....don't know much there yet, cause she's waiting for the CD of my CT scan and MRI to arrive from WVA....but looks like there will be a "team effort" with her and the GYN doctor for the surgery....will know more next week....everyone of the drs. so far are amazed that I'm not in any pain and they all believe at this point that cysts are benign, so am hopeful....time will tell...

Okay, better get my butt in gear and get the beans going....

Coffee's on and blueberry muffins for all...help yourselves..... ;)

Have a great day, all......

GOOD MORNING BLADY AND ALL!

Your dogs are beautiful! They look much like the two my daughter has here at the compound. The loudest one is like a puppy with Orion, my grandson, but absolutely hates his grandfather! Dogs have innate knowledge of who loves them, and who doesn't!

The day has dawned sunny and was down to 56 degrees in the night.....now up to 65 out there. I heard Orion shrieking at about 4:30, and then heard his parents warming up the car shortly thereafter, so I got up to see what was up. After an evening of not feeling good, he was spiking a fever of 103.9, and they were facing their first ER run. Orion was very flushed, twitchy as feverish kids can often be, and I could see why they were worried. Doctors found nothing wrong they could point to, so told them to continue with Ibuprofen and Tylenol, and keep him hydrated. When they got back he already looked better than when they had left. He and his mommy have gone back to bed for more rest, and this grandma is breathing a sigh of relief.

It was in this same house that I spent many a night sitting up watching Orion's Mommy moaning and hallucinating now and then when she had a fever, due to the meds the doc had prescribed for her. I remember how scared I was back then.

Mowing and blueberry picking and a dump run on my list of to-dos for today. Hope you all have a fine Saturday wherever you are!

Gonna be a hot one here in Alabama! But at least I got to have the door and windows open for a while. I appreciate the A/C but don't care for it..does that make sense?? Settled in out in the country in Theadore and off to do some Mobile exploring for a couple of days. I'm thinking today will be Bellingrath Home and Gardens. We'll see.

Bayou Lady (did I miss your name somewhere?) it's gonna be hard to find parks that will take you pups. It's not fair, but because of a few ignorant owners everyone pays the price.

on edit: how could I forget this?? Miss Martha and her family joined us here last nite on her way back from Florida! We had a great dinner out and lots of conversation..Thought I was gonna miss her this trip! She really needs to work on her mean voice for the Chewmonster, tho!

Good Morning from here too,

BayouLady, love your dogs. Are they related? What kind of trailer and how big are you looking for? Too bad you weren't up this way as MI State Parks have no restrictions on dog size.

Another beautiful morning here in Northern Michigan. Warmer weather is supposed to be moving in though. Not looking forward to that, but know that it only last so long.

Got the flowers watered this morning, big deal I know. I'm sure you all are excited about that  Wanted to do them before the sun got up in the sky and I have some errands and a meeting on my agenda this morning. Property owners annual meeting.

Was out looking at TT's again yesterday. Didn't find anything at this particular dealer. It's the one I got my last TT from, but at the moment he doesn't have much except larger TT's. Sportsman is still sitting over at other dealer where I was before. Might go look again first of next week. Still like Louise's van idea though. Also looking for one of those too. So far not much around here. Looked at one the other day, but too many miles.

Mitch, I forgot to mention yesterday, that your TT project really gave me a laugh with you talking about a spectacular fireworks show when you turned it on for the first time. But I want to say kudo's to you for doing such a great job. So when is the Blue Marlin going to be back on the road again. There's a big country out there waiting for you to explore and a lot of people waiting to meet you.

Maggie, thanks for taking the mosquito's back with you  I was out walking in the back woods for a bit with Sassy last night before dark and no problem with bugs at all. So that tells me their season is done here. Finally. Not to say there may not be a few around here and there.

Judy, sorry to hear you had to cancel the Badlands part of your trip, but I too would have done the same thing. It's close enough to MI and OH, that it can be done easily some other time. Like maybe next spring.

CArol, you heading up here at all this summer to visit family or whatever? Louise, still hoping to GTG with you before this summer is over. Course if your sister uses her place into fall, then we have time.

Well, time to get moving here, so wish you all a great Saturday and if you are on the road, stay safe.

good morning everyone... I swore Shadow barked twice and woke me up this morning... I will call Hildi later and see how he is doing... have had a week with only a few tears but that may be because of the extra strong med... lol
Oh baked beans sound good... my granddaughters mother in law makes the best... they cook slowly in the oven for maybe 6 hours and mmm mmm mmm they are so good... Soos you can make some blueberry pancakes if you like...
I am going to find the farmers market in Bloomington this morning... want to get started making juice now that I have found my long lost juicer... it is the juice man jr...
Those are some beautiful dogs! I never realized that some parks did not take them... sad indeed...
Little ones can have a high fever one minute and be running around playing the next... it must be burning up some bug... let us know how the little one is doing...
Well Sue I had my chair and binoculars all ready but saw nothing so guess she made a good electric connection... that is one thing I never messed with...
I wish I could find someone that could put up with me and we could share the expenses and do a bit of traveling around in my MH... oh well like my grandma used to say if wishes were fishes we all would have a fry...
Have a good day everyone... Lori take care save some of those beans for me....

I posted early this AM, but I guess the post was lost in space. Oh well. We left Biloxi yesterday and headed north stopping in Greenville, AL to pick up a rental car. We got lost trying to find the RV park in Troy. But as soon as we got hooked up and settled, the skies let loose and poured rain, lightening and thunder for a few hours. About 10 pm I took Tyler for a walk around the pond and it was magical. Cool, around 70, dark menacing clouds surrounding us 360 with the occasional lightening bolt giving light to the pond. The sky directly above was clear as a bell and the stars twinkled as the surrounding woods and meadows provided a night time symphony of frogs, cicada, crickets and other sounds of the might. Magical. This morning it is cool as well and not expected to get above 80. Sweet Alabama.

Today we are headed to the library for DH to do some genealogy research. His ancestors were here in the early 1800s. Then we'll visit the pioneer museum. Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha, y'all

Good Morning to All from beautiful Central Indiana. Yesterday was the perfect summer day. Blue sky, puffy white clouds perfect temperature and a light breeze. We're enjoying while we can. In a few days it will be muggy and in the 90s for the first time this year.
I'm adding a post to the Books section - very interesting book and full of Italian recipes. I made one of the breads for dinner last night. Delicious.
Been doing a lot of work around the house - still have some left to do. Relocated eight raccoons - hope that was the last of them as we replaced all the carpet they tore up and put in Plexiglas instead of screen on the porch.
Enjoy the days of summer whether your at home or on the road. The Alfa is still at the RV doc but supposed to be ready for pick up next week. Hope they got everything fixed this time.

good morning ladies, getting ready to jump in the shower and get started on my day. Making a trip out to the
rv to take my vacation stuff back out there and pick up some stuff for the girl at work. I always like to do it
early and get back before it heats up. Making my puter time short this morning. Ya'll have a good day and
be safe. Will check in later.

Thank you, those babies are my heart. Alexis is the socialite and will cry on walks if people don't come pet her. Beck is more reserved, but once he's comfortable, full of kisses and nudges. He is my rescue baby and wasn't well socialized, but has come a long way since I got him.

Glad Orion is better, I can imagine how much of a scare that had to be. Should be mowing grass here, but as I type the digging is being done for the landing base for my trailer. Do you make blueberry preserves?

Name is Bonnie, you didn't miss it, just haven't posted it lol. That is an unfortunate thing about the dogs, but we will work around it. The main reason for the trailer is for evacuating, the camping will be the pleasure part. If the first happens, I have places I can go. I have sent some messages off to campgrounds this morning, waiting on responses.

You would think they were related as bonded as they are, in fact, it was really Alexis that adopted Beck, it was an instant attraction and Beck wasn't interested in the other dobies at the rescue place. I originally took him in as a foster, well, that didnt last long, he was staying.

It was a big deal to the flowers to get that water. I'm not always so good with that, but we have been getting some rain, so they are happy. Will get up to Michigan one day, have a buddy I would love to meet there and have some camera time with.

Kathleen, praying that a solution can be made and no more tears, just happy times, maybe playing with Shadow. At least he only barked twice, that's not bad. I've had to call the police on one neighbor, their dog was barking like crazy at 1am, after 30 minutes, I had enough. Haven't had that problem since.

Love the nature sounds at night, but if that lightening included thunder, mine would be running for cover. Big dogs can be the biggest babies. Good luck with your research, hopefully lost family members can be found on your travels.
