I don't want to be driving down the road anywhere near them.... And my first thought also was who has the crane to unload it ?

I'm guessing ramps for the trailer tires & they use a winch to get it off the back.

Isn't anyone wondering how that got it up there in the first place??? Maybe Judy's explanation is the best -- hard stop.

Wonder how long they'll think that's worth the effort.

Not too aerodynamic either! Would hate to be driving behind them! I would be a nervous wreck if I was driving that RV too!

Just when you think you've seen it all....something even stupider (is that a word?) comes along....Would think that's an accident just waiting to happen....and what about getting a ticket...course the police would probably be saying.....'can't believe my eyes'... :o

I guess also what amazes me is what people think they have to take along on vacation. I see people take a couple of hours to set up camp somewhere because they have to unload the bikes, the kids toys, the patio mat, the extra picnic table, the grill, the dog crate and fencing, the 6 chairs, the strings of lights, the eating tent, and so on. And then it takes half of a morning to pack it all up again when they leave. Instead of getting away from it all, they take it with them.

Maybe that's why some people think camping is so hard. I just pull up and plug in. Might put out a chair or two and very occasionally, a mat, but that is about all. Takes me 5 minutes total. I always have traveled light. Went to the UK twice with just a carryon and a small backpack for my electronics and laptop.

The easiest and safest thing would have been to have someone drive the truck pulling the boat separately. Following that rig as they were pulling it would be like following one of those big logging trucks with the logs piled up and almost falling off--an accident waiting to happen.
